So much going on!

To start off Last Friday Elizabeth was 17 months old!! Wow we're almost to a year and half I can't believe it!! Here are some pictures of her that day.

Then On Saturday we had Tony's parents take Elizabeth while we went to Desert Star, which was absolutely hilarious!! We laughed the entire time! Then we went to dinner at Hire's Big H/Litza's as is tradition and got a heart shaped pizza, and enjoyed time just the two of us, it was so nice. Here are some pics of Elizabeth in her Valentin's outfit.

Sunday we picked up my parents from the airport as they came back from San Diego where my mom's work had a conference, drove them home and spent the day up at their house visiting and of course playing Wii Sports Resort...we just can't get enough of that game!! And a bonus was that my brother was even there! Then this crazy week began and with quite the drama! On Monday our nephew Carson Russell was born just after noon, He seemed to be fine at first but they soon relized something wasn't right adn by the end of the night her was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital, turns out he has some heart problems, but is now doing much better,a nd will be having his first surgery Monday. Our hearts went out to Russ and Alicia, and our prayer for Carson. Tuesday was uneventful really had my presidency meeting in the evening and Elizabeth did really good, she missed those wonderful ladies, as they did her! On Wednesday our niece Melina(Carson's big sister) came and played with us, we had so much fun! You can definitely tell these are two spoiled little girls who are used to being the one and only! So this was good for Lizabeth to experience what it's like to not be the only one getting attention! She did really well though. They had lots of fun playing together as well!

And then there is yesterday. Elizabeth had her second appointment with her eye dr at the Riverton medical center...and we did not get the news we were hoping for. Dr Larsen examined her eyes then informed us a bit in shock himself that somehow her eyes are more crossed than they were a couple months ago, even despite the glasses. He was surprised because he really didn't expect them to get worse if anything he said he thought they might just not change, but alas they are worse, so surgery will be needed. Poor girl, it just seems to be one thing after another for her! Hopefully we're getting all her medical problems out of the way early in her life so she won't have to deal with it later..ya that's it!(I can hope!) He's going to to do surgery on one eye and *cross your fingers* both eyes will hopefully uncross, if not then he'll go back in and do the other eye. She'll be going in March 5th to get that done, luckily as long as she doesn't get sick we'll be able to have it done at the Riverton Primary Children's Hospital. Well I think you're up to date with us! Here are some random fun pictures taken of Elizabeth in the past couple weeks.

Birthday Party, the Wii and a Meltdown

This past weekend we had a birthday party at my parents house for Eric and my mom. My mom had the genius idea to do a brunch buffet which was a huge hit! Anywho, it started at 9:30am on Saturday, so Tony and I, knowing that there was no way we were going to get up get everybody ready, in the car and up there anywhere near 9:30, decided to pack an overnight bag(which I can now do in my sleep) and just head up friday night. Saturday was also my Relief Society Board Meeting, which I felt badly about missing but family does come first, and I took care of all my responsibilities for it before hand, Tony did help a bit by picking up the ice, lemons and limes I was asked to provide, and we dropped it off on our way out of town. Saturday the brunch went really well, most of my extended family even showed up! Ya just never know sometimes. Tony made a pan omelet that I myself not really liking eggs didn't try but everyone gave it great reviews so it much have been fantastic! My mom got doughnuts from Madbrooks who make a chocolate peanut butter one that is to die for!! And after I eat two of them that's pretty much how I feel, but it's so worth it!! After all the company was gone and Elizabeth was down for a nap, we did what we do best...played Wii Sports Resort! I just can't even tell you how much fun we all have playing the many games on there!

Okay random side note...so Lizabeth is supposed to be down for her nap, I put her down about 5 minutes ago WITHOUT her binky just to test out the waters..and she's in there calling "doggie", "doggie!" jabber jabber jabber "doggie!" man she makes me laugh. But at least she's not screaming so I'll take it!

Anyway so back to last Saturday, there is a game on Sports Resort called Frisbee dog, where you throw a frisbee to a target and a dog catches it...well those of you who know Lizabeth know where I'm going with this..she absolutely LOVES it!! She gets so excited about seeing a dog on the tv! And I got pictures of her watching Tony play it, and she was cheering him on, and clapping for the dog when he caught the Frisbee and was occasionally pointing at the dog on the tv, its so freakin' cute I just love that little girl to pieces!

Sunday...oh Sunday. Elizabeth is starting to get to that age I wish General Conference was every week, but this week had good and bad. The good is she did not get taken out of sacrament once! Sunday school we stay in the foyer and pretty much let her run around, then I take her to Relief Society with me as the men meet on the stage and Elizabeth has only had depth perception for a month so I'm not ready to test it out in that way. So the moment we get into RS she starts being ornery, luckily the Young Women were in charge so I didn't have to get prayers or anything so I just did my best to deal with Lizabeth and I got her calmed down as it started. Then she wandered over to the new really expensive piano and started playing it, so I got up ran over picked her up reminded her she is not allowed to touch the really expensive piano and we sat back down. The moment her feet hit the floor she booked it over to the piano and started banging on the keys! I took a deep breath and my sweet President who was sitting next to me whispered, count down from ten on your way over, so I did. I took Elizabeth out to the hall and scolded her something fierce...she slid from my arms and the meltdown began. She threw herself onto the ground, turned over onto her back and started pushing herself towards the wall to smack her head, all the while screaming at the top of her lungs. And being as upset as I was I just sat on the sofa in the foyer and let her do it. After a couple minutes a sister came out and took her for a walk and told me to go back in and hear a lesson for the first time in months, I thanked her immensely and did so...Elizabeth threw a fit the entire time. So I don't care she's not 18 months yet next week she's going to nursery!!! She did snuggle a ton with me when we got home, and I realized I should have told her I wasn't leaving her with a stranger(to her anyway) as punishment, cause I think that's what she thought it was, so I gave her lots of loves before she fell asleep in my arms...she hasn't done that in months! Then my brother came over to redo our computer network as it hasn't worked right in like years(maybe not that long but it feels like it) I watched the Super Bowl only because the Saints were playing, and it was actually a pretty good game! Mostly because the Saints won! Elizabeth was way into the puppy bowl for about a half hour tops, but it totally made her day!
Not much happened during the week...the weather has been pretty good so we've been able to go outside and play a bit more, only problem is Lizabeth thinks she has to play in the parking lot which even though it's 3 in the afternoon and there are no cars there it scares me, so she gets mad when I make her stay on the sidewalk or grass..I really wish we had a better park but oh well.
That's it with us here are as always some pics, enjoy!

Full of BIG smiles!!

I LOVED this outfit but the skirt is now too small :(

Busy but Fun Weekend

So Saturday was quite the marathon day for us! In the morning I finished packing the last few things we'd need to take up to Clearfield with us, Tony picked up the food co-op and got it put away, we got Lizabeth all ready we even brushed her teeth for the first time! She did amazing! She saw Tony doing it so they brushed their teeth together! it was sooo cute I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture of it. I did most the cleaning of her teeth but she had fun playing with the toothbrush in her mouth! Anywho...we then set off to the Nester's house for Cassie's 16th birthday party, it was a really good time. Elizabeth finally got stood up to by her cousin Melina(you see Elizabeth was trying to get to her pizza and Melina told her no) and she took it very well...thank you Melina! We visited for quite a while then headed home to load up the pilot for the rest of the weekend. Elizabeth fell asleep on the way home..of course! So I stayed in the car with her, while Tony loaded us up. Then his parents dropped off our treadmill as they were done testing out if it would be worth it to get one. Then we were off to Clearfield! Elizabeth slept most of the way there but Shadow's whining woke her up. We were going to stop at Big Lots before my parent's house but Tony forgot the coupon so we went straight to my parents house, and talked for a bit and Tony printed off another coupon and so we went back out to Big Lots and found lots of great deals! We found some 24 month outfits for four dollars, but with the coupon they were only like $3.20! We got her Bunny Day present too it's a princess table and chairs for outside in our little front area, it was only 20 bucks after the coupon. We found other little things too it was a great trip! Then we went back to my parents house and visited a bit more until my brother showed up and then we went to Corbin's for dinner to celebrate my brother and my mom's birthday. It's such a nice restaurant! And the food is amazing!! We spent the night up there and went to church with my parents, Elizabeth was as always super busy and didn't stay put for more than 5 seconds the entire time, after church we played the Wii and had a very good dinner, then played the Wii some more then headed home again. And that was our marathon weekend, full of lots of fun and fabulous family!
Here are some recent pics of Liz.
