Easter day we got the kids into their adorable new church clothes and went to church to remember, observe and pay respect to the real reason for Easter...our Savior. We came home and I spent the rest of the day taking pictures of the kids; trying to get some good pictures...they did NOT want to cooperate. Elizabeth closed her eyes when she smiled and looked weird when her eyes were open, Grrrr. I couldn't get Devin to look at me, he'd stare at anything and everything but not me! And as for getting one of the both of them...HA! Such a joke! But they looked so good that I gave it my best and in the end after deleting tons of pictures I got some good ones :) AND we finally got a family picture thanks to one of our home teachers! Oh and Devin has been smiling more lately but he of course wouldn't show it off to the camera, oh well. Enjoy the pictures I worked so hard to get!
Saturday the Bunny did come by and leave a fun basket of things for Elizabeth, and even something fun for Devin as well! Elizabeth loved it! She totally gets Santa and the Bunny thing now and it's so cute to see her surprise and happiness when she comes down stairs and sees they've come by and left her something! After dissecting her basket and gift, we got the kids into their fun Bunny Day outfits and headed up to my parents house for a brunch of delicious ham, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, and rolls. Mmmmmmm! It was so yummy!! Then we got our baskets full of yummy treats! Tony and I got a sit and stand stroller that is awesome!(I used it today and it's a lifesaver!) We all got super cute bunny's too that my mom made, and one that she made the dress for. Then we just enjoyed our goodies, and the company. My dad got a box out for Liz to play in and he and Tony put the stroller together. Then Tony had lots of fun cleaning up all the headlights on our cars with a kit he got. Then they took Elizabeth and went to Home Depot in Centerville and on their way back picked up Wok Lin's the best Chinese food ever!! What a great day!!
We were married in the Salt Lake Temple August 4th 2006, and have only grown closer and more in love since! We welcomed our first child, Elizabeth September 12th 2008, and our second, Devin March 3rd 2011. It's been quite the journey so far with plenty of ups and downs, but we grow stronger and closer as we continue in faith.
