Friday we got up and on the road by 9. We drove for a couple hours, stopped at a rest stop to use the potty and stretch, then drove the rest of the way to the RV park, we got there just after one and planned on just getting the motorhome settled then having lunch...but they first spot we were given to park the motorhome was super slanted and the guys weren't able to level it, so we moved to a different spot and with only a little trouble got it leveled and stabilized...so we could have lunch! After lunch we let the kids watch a movie in their bunks, while we set everything in order then had dinner and called it a day!
Saturday the kids were up bright and early so my mom took them to the little playground in the RV park while breakfast was being cooked. After breakfast we went sightseeing to the Hagerman fossil beds and along part of the Oregon Trail, then stopped at a little park along the Snake River to check out and drive across Owsley Bridge which was built in the early 1900's. Then it was back to the motorhome for lunch and nap/quiet time. After Devin woke up we went to the Hagerman Visitor Center, which was really cool and great for kids...I'm kickin' myself I forgot to take the camera! My mom got each of the kids a cute little finger puppet, Elizabeth chose a squirrel and Devin an owl. They have endless fun with them! By the time we got back it was time to start dinner! Saturday was my dad's birthday so we had a special steak and potatoes dinner and birthday carrot cake for dessert!

Sunday morning we went to see some gorgeous waterfalls and a picture perfect little pond by Box Canyon. The we went back to the motorhome for lunch and nap/quiet time...after that we went to the local museum, which was pretty cool! Then it was dinner and bed.
There was a lot of these wooden pipes directing the water flow...so cool!
On Monday we went to Devin's Washbowl at Malad Gorge and wondered to see the cool views around there. Then we took a self guided tour in the car of more of Malad Gorge. We stopped by a fun little playground for a bit on the way back, then headed back to the motorhome for lunch and nap/quiet time, then just chilled in the nice cool motorhome in the afternoon, had a dinner and that was the day!

On the way back we stopped at Bill Woody Memorial Playground...we didn't stay long as it was HOT!! But they still had plenty of fun!
Tuesday was our stay at the motorhome and take it easy day. Tony and I did breakfast, a cheesy ham and hashbrowns casserole(via pinterest) then my parents took our kids to the city park while Tony and I did some cleaning around the motorhome. After lunch a nap/quiet time they planned out in the little wading pool my mom brought...and had LOTS of fun! We did dinner that evening as well.

Wednesday we drove into Twin Falls and first went to the visitors center and looked at yet another cool bridge where Evel Knievel attempted a jump, and it's the only place it's legal to base jump. Then we drove to see the amazing Shashone Falls...so pretty! Then we went to lunch at Chic Fil Le, wandered up and down Twin Falls historic Main Street, let Elizabeth play at a little playground while Devin napped and my parents looked for a good place for dinner in town. My dad would have had us go to a little place called the Burnt Lemon(aka burnt lemonade and burnt cookie...we had trouble remembering the name ;) ) My mom found a good sounding option called River Rock Grill but we and the GPS had difficulties finding it so Tony called and got directions to it and it was a GREAT place to eat! Lots of delicious food. Then we headed back to the motorhome and called it a day!
Thursday was the 4th of July, so my mom jumped on her laptop the night before and found out that the little town of Buhl was having a parade and fun stuff at the local park, so that's where we headed! The parade was...interesting, just what you'd expect from rural Idaho, lots of horses and farm equipment, but Elizabeth enjoyed it and even caught a piece of bubble gum! We left a few minutes before it was over and headed over the the park. After finding a place to take the kids potty we let the kids ride the fun little train they so wanted to go on, and they even had a car with Snow White and Woody on it...can we say meant to be?! Then Tony and I went to get our and Elizabeth's lunch, then my parents went. Devin passed out before finishing his lunch, so we laid him on the blanket to sleep. Elizabeth attempted an inflatable 'obstacle course' but she insisted it was too hot to walk on...so that was a no go. My mom and I wandered the 'booths' they had there. My mom found some cool light toys for the kids, and I spotted something Elizabeth has been wanting for quite some time...a turtle! A baby turtle actually, and after some negotiating on the price we ended up with Tuck the turtle...thanks to the internet I figured out that it is a yellow eared slider...and he's dang cute!! After that we headed out to find Balance Rock State Park to check out a balancing rock that's shaped like Africa. Then we stopped by the state fish hatchery, and saw some HUGE fish! Then we headed back to the motorhome for dinner.

Friday we had planned on hitting up the hot mineral pools...but as it was a hundred degrees in the afternoon we opted out of that and just had another 'chill' day. My mom and I went out in the afternoon to check out the local "antique and gift store" which wasn't really our forte but fun to walk through. Hit up the market for a few things we needed and came back. Tony was going to let the kids play in the pool again in the afternoon but it ended up raining and lighting so they got to watch movies on their bunks instead...which they were just fine with! It was a nice relaxing day.
Devin mezmorized by Toy Story...I though I got a couple pictures of Elizabeth too but apparently I didn't...she had a similar gaze. It was too cute!
Saturday we packed up and headed home :( We stopped at the Love's truck stop for gas and lunch, and that was that! It was a great, go with the flow no pressure trip...just what we needed! My parents, Tony and I played Ticket to Ride every night and it was great fun! Such a wonderful trip!!
