With it being our last day in the parks we wanted to make sure that we hit up all the rides, see the characters and other things that the kids and us wanted to get done. One of the MUSTS for Devin was to see Buzz and Woody. So we started our day in California Adventure and made it a point to see them. We are going to go on a side note here. We have been trying to get Devin to go on roller coasters since he was tall enough for them. We started the day with me taking Lizzy on Californa screaming and Anni taking Devin on Midway mania. Out of the blue Devin mentioned that he wanted to go on Screamin'. So we got a return time and went on screamin' as a family. Devin LOVED it and we went on it a few more times. I just love how he waits until the last day of the trip to go on something we tried sooner so he would have had more time to ride. O well, he went and to this day he still talks about wanting to go on it again. We hit up our favorite rides in the park and made our way across to Disneyland to finish the day out. We made sure to get a picture in front of the train station just as you walk in, we always seem to wait until the end of the trip to get that done. Then we hit up our favorite rides and characters and called it.
It is always sad to leave Disneyland and i think we walked out a little slower not knowing the next time we would be going back. There is something magical in that place that we all love.
Rides, Characters, Rides more Characters and yet more rides!! (Oh and a Pool!!)
That was the theme for today. I am not sure but we spent a bunch of time this day in Fantasyland. The kids seemed to really enjoy this area and it was fun. One thing we do with the kids is take turns riding with them. At times they do really well, but then other times Devin does not like to ride with dad. So the order gets screwed up or they have certain rides that they MUST go on with us. It is fun and gives us the experience of seeing each kid happy. We seemed to wonder around a bit and just explore all areas. We LOVE the dole whips and last time we went Devin could have cared less about it. But this time he was adimet that he get his one, and he ate all of it. Nothing really exciting happened this day, no big plans or anything. We planned it this way to allow us to hit it hard the next day as it would be our last. We left the park early and stopped off at the Pizza press for dinner and then headed back to the room. Where we were staying at the Howard Johnson they had a pretty sweet pool for the kids to play in. They had been looking forward to it all trip but the weather was not playing nice with them Sunday when we had planned to chill at the pool. It was a bit chilly, but our kids will never let cold stop fun at a pool.
Enjoy the pictures, they tell more of the day.

We were married in the Salt Lake Temple August 4th 2006, and have only grown closer and more in love since! We welcomed our first child, Elizabeth September 12th 2008, and our second, Devin March 3rd 2011. It's been quite the journey so far with plenty of ups and downs, but we grow stronger and closer as we continue in faith.
