Taylorsville Dayzz Part 2

So we went back to Taylorsville Dayzz Saturday evening for the "ABBA" concert and big firework show. Elizabeth loved the music and was dancing like crazy! My brother Eric and his fiance Jen came with us, which was nice cause Elizabeth loved playing with them! We got some cotton candy and enjoyed the music, and the fireworks were really awesome! Though Elizabeth at that point was beyond worn out so she passed out a few minutes into the firework show, but Tony and I loved it! Then on Monday we went and listened to the Utah Symphony with the cannoneers! Tony sure loves those cannons!! Elizabeth not so much. She fared a bit better with the fireworks, though she still says they're scary. She told me today she'd like them better if they were quiet ;) Love that girl!! Enjoy the pics, sorry the videos are sideways I have yet to figure out how to rotate them.

The music slowed down and so did her dancing...so smart, too cute!!

Taylorsville Dayzz Part One

Thursday was the start of Taylorsville Dayzz and they had special price $1 rides that evening so Tony got off work a bit early and we went over, honestly I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised! Elizabeth started off with a nice little train ride. She pretended to ring the bell and said "choo choo" it was stinking cute!! It was a really fun train too! Then this little caterpillar coaster caught her eye, but the operator said she was too little for it. So then she went on the "car ride" she steered her little Jeep the entire time! I'm sure she was convinced that if she didn't steer it, it was going to drive away!! Then we of course had to ride the carousel! While we were waiting our turn she kept telling me "the white horse wants me to ride him". She walked up to it and said "hi horse, don't worry I'm going to ride you, I'm good!" Oh how she loves carousels!! Then we went over to a little ride next to it that had ducks and boats that went around in a circle, slowly. The look on her face while riding this was priceless!! Words really cannot describe so I'll just let you see the picture for yourself...just know she had that look pretty much the entire ride. I was crackin' up the whole time! But we made up for the lack of fun on the next ride we went to. It was the Orient Express! Or "dragon coaster" as Elizabeth calls it. I went with her on this one as it's a full on coaster, and man was it fun!! She went right to the front car and from the moment it started moving Elizabeth was laughing and grinning ear to ear! After that Tony took her down the Super Slide, which she of course LOVED! And immediately tried to go back up to, as she thought it was like a regular slide where you could just keep going up the stairs and go back down as many times as you want, she didn't realize it took a ticket every time. Then she took a ride in a UFO! And for her last ride Tony went with her on the "dragon ride" again this time she wanted to sit in the very last car. Tony even got her to put her hands up for the drops! Then we had a typical carnival dinner of corn dogs and nachos, and a snow cone for dessert. We all had such a great time!! And we learned that Elizabeth is definitely a big coaster girl! That little girl has no fear I tell ya!!(except for maybe dinosaurs ;)

This is Elizabeth on the "car ride" steering away!

This is a little not the best video of the "dragon coaster", but it gives you the idea.

What We Do These Days!

So we've just pretty much been doing the same old same old this week. Devin used the little float in the pool a couple times this week and did really well with it! He only lasts about a half hour in the water, sometimes more sometimes less. Elizabeth absolutely, completely LOVES the pool and playing with her cousins! We went in and got everything done for our passports yesterday and getting Elizabeth's picture was such a joke he took like 8 pictures and we ended up just going with the first one which is a classic mug shot, we'll have to get it scanned in sometime and post it, it totally cracks us up! Devin's was pretty good...better than Elizabeth's! Well here are some fun pics from the past week. Enjoy!

Rest of the Weekend!

After the Zoo we took back roads to Centerville for our nephew Jordan's birthday party, for 2 reasons one Elizabeth and Devin were asleep, and the AC isn't working in the Pilot at the moment so we wanted to keep the windows down. The party was great, it was in their backyard and the weather was so nice for it! After the party we had Tony's parents take Liz up to Jordanell with them and we hit up the kids store outlets up in Park City. Then we met up with both our parents who were RVing together up there over the weekend and spent the night. It was quite convenient to have both our dad's together in the same place for Father's Day! After checking out Sunday we spent the rest of the day at my parents house, Tony my brother and Jen played the Wii while Liz watched and I sewed a dress for Elizabeth for the upcoming patriotic holidays next month, with my mom's help of course. I'm actually starting to get the hang of things, but I still have alot to figure out as well. And that was our weekend! Crazy I know!!
