Family Pictures!

The end of June we had our favorite photographers the Hatches do our family pictures, and though our kids weren't very cooperative, they as they always do got some good pictures anyway. We couldn't get Devin to smile for anything, and Elizabeth was pretty much done five minutes into it but I still love how they turned out! Enjoy!!

Celebrating Pioneer Day

Monday we watched the big parade on my parents nice big HD TV! Elizabeth loved pointing out all the floats she saw Friday. And of course dancing to the marching bands! Then she got to use all of nana's fun stamps!! While I helped my mom get ready for the wedding dinner Friday by baking cookies. Then Tony and my dad took Liz on a wagon ride to the park to play. That evening we went to the Taste of The Towns which was awesome and yummy!! And that concluded our super fun 24th weekend!!

If you look closely toward the end of the video she's using the crayon in her hand to pretend to play the flute.

Cherry Hill and a Hot Sunday

Saturday morning Tony helped my brother move, stopped by our house to get Shadow so she could run around my parent's yard, and some things we forgot. Then we got ready and we took Elizabeth to Cherry Hill!(thanks to my mom who found discount passes on city deals that included everything! The water park, mini golf, rock climbing, batting cages, locker rental, and hot dog and drink!!) My dad came with us and my mom graciously watched Devin for us. Cherry Hill was soooooo fun! We started at the pirates cove playing in the water fountains, going down the slide and playing in the pirates ship. She liked it well enough but she kept asking me where the deep end was, cause she wanted to swim. So we went over to the Lazy River where she swam like 4 or 5 laps around it! She is such a little fishy! It wore her out though cause she curled up with tony on his tube and fell asleep as we floated around. After the river my dad played with Liz at the pirates cove some more while Tony and I got lunch. After a yummy lunch my dad took Liz on a wander walk with him while Tony and I hit up the little rapid river thing, and then the dragon slides which we went on 3 times! We were going to take Elizabeth the last time but she was afraid of the dragon, we had tons of fun though! It was a great day!! That night my parents took us and Eric and Jen up to the Grey cliffs restaurant in Ogden Canyon to celebrate Jen's birthday(which is today!) Then my parent's took the kids back to their house while Eric and Jen, Tony and I went mini golfing...we couldn't believe how crazy it was, but we had a good time anyway! The 17th hole stole my ball but I'm not bitter or anything ;) Sunday was super hot so after quiet time Liz got her swimsuit on and they guys filled up the wading pool and we cooled off in the water. Elizabeth also had tons of fun with the water guns spraying everything including the dogs! Fun times!!

Videos of Cherry Hill coming soon(they're still on Tony's jump drive)

Bountiful Parade!

First off Friday I finally got pictures of the kids in their matching outfits I sewed for them, and to my surprise I actually got some good ones!!

That afternoon we met up with my parents in Bountiful as they were kind enough to save spots for us for the parade. Elizabeth seemed to enjoy it much more this year...except for the fire trucks as they were too loud for her liking. She did like dancing to all the marching bands, and seeing all the pretty princesses, nice horses and fun floats! She especially liked all the goodies she was thrown! Devin did really well he didn't like the loud sirens either but he was good through the rest of it, he passed out toward the end. Enjoy the pics!
