Happy Boy! And Fun Outside!

Last Friday Devin was in such a good mood! It's just so amazing the difference it's made since he's been on the milk free Nutramigen. You can just tell he feels so much better! And Friday while playing in his super seat he was all smiles! So I finally captured lots of them on camera! We've also had some really nice days and Elizabeth has been soaking it up! She loves going to the park to swing and slide and play in the sand, and she loves playing out front as well, riding her bike and such. She's starting to get the hang of her tricycle too, she's a pro at steering and the pedaling is coming along, she does really well until she gets off rhythm then she just puts her feet down and pushes. Enjoy the cute pictures!

Our Silly Kiddos!

These are just some fun pictures I've taken of the kids and there silliness and hopefully a video of Devin talking and squirming(but if you don't see it I couldn't get it to load sorry). Elizabeth like I'm sure most older siblings enjoys playing with Devin's toys and things far more than he does...take the baby gym for example Liz probably plays with it more than he does everyday! She loves using all his stuff for Lovey as well, it's so cute to watch her mimic everything I do for Devin with Lovey, she gets rocked, fed a bottle, burped, changed, she even cleans Lovey's nose out! Lovey rocks in the swing, and lays in the bouncer, sits in Devin's super seat, and even likes to watch the lights on his baby gym. ;)She takes such good care of her Lovey! The other day Liz wanted Devin to sit on her couch(she wanted him to see how comfy it is!) I think he'd agree with her!

Devin is 2 months old!

So Tuesday Devin turned two months old!! Can you believe it?! That afternoon I left Elizabeth with her Aunt Ketty and went to Devin's check up. I discussed my concerns about all his tummy trouble and since Elizabeth and I were allergic to milk as babies she suggested we test him as well with a simple "prick test" and within seconds it was clear he was very allergic to that milk protein! He also may have acid reflux but we're going to see how his system does after being on the Nutramigen for a couple weeks, hopefully that will solve those problems as well! She also noticed his two middle bottom teeth were just beneath his gum! She said when they start coming this early they often have the tendency to rise and fall a few times before they fully come in...joy! She was super impressed with how very strong he his, she said he stands like a 4 or 5 month old! And he has very good head control, and as I have always said, has abs of steel! He looked good and healthy in every way! He still has a heart murmur but she says she'll just continue to monitor it.
His stats were:
Height: 23 1/2 inches,40%
Weight: 11.2 pounds,30%
Head: 20%
I got alot of good pictures of his many fun faces so enjoy!

Devin 8 weeks and Blessing Day!

Last Thursday Devin turned a whopping 8 weeks old! And even more astonishing to me is that tomorrow he will be two months old!! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! He is getting so big! He has the most adorable smile, though he reserves it for special moments and definitely doesn't abuse the ability! ;) He's so so sooooo strong he LOVES tummy time and can keep his head up for minutes in a row. He pushes himself up on his arms as well, as to get a better view of everything. He loves to just look around and check out everything, he especially loves watching his big sister's antics, he smiles the most while watching her silliness! She loves entertaining him and "making Devin so happy" as she says. Friday while having tummy time he rolled over his left side onto his back! I watched him push himself up further and further until over he went! He was staring at the hanging fish on his baby gym the whole time, then after he'd rolled onto his back he just lay there smiling. This morning he rolled over his right side onto his back but then got mad cause he wasn't done playing on his tummy. Like I said he's one strong boy! He's "talking" alot more everyday, we had a good 15 minute conversation this morning after he ate! I just love hearing his coos they're so sweet and make me smile so big!
Sunday Tony blessed Devin, it was very sweet and we felt the spirit with us. I cannot describe how blessed we feel to have Devin and Elizabeth in our lives, and how thankful we are for their sweet spirits in our family, they have helped change us so much for the better! After Sacrament meeting we went to Tony's parents house for an Open house and to visit with family. Devin looked so much like a little man in his blessing suit! Well here are the pictures, enjoy!
