So going through this week, Monday Devin adamantly refused to go to preschool, I had to drag him kicking and screaming to the door of his classroom. After trying unsuccessfully to convince him to go into class his teacher had to carry him in screaming, and she told me she'd call in 15 minutes if he didn't settle down. Luckily I never received that call and he managed to calm down, though she did tell me he wasn't a very active participant as he usually is but he was there! That evening was Elizabeth's theater class which she reported loving and talked non-stop about all the way home! Tuesday after Devin's tumbling class his teacher told me he seemed very ready to move up to the next class. So I started looking for a 3-5 year old's tumble class. Then after Elizabeth's piano class her teacher also said that she was more than ready to move up as well. She told me she's been doing the next level with her for a couple months and she's doing great, so it'd be best to just move her now so she has time to learn a more difficult piece before the winter recital. So I'm now looking into moving both their classes at Bravo, most likely to Wednesdays, when they have both their classes at the same time. Tuesday night Jen came up and Tony watched Daniel and our kids while Jen and I went out and found clothes to wear for Holbrook family pictures Saturday morning. After that we went to dinner at Pace's, haven't been there in a LONG time! I'd forgotten how yummy their Rainbows are!! Jen and I had a nice long talk/therapy session, it was great!! Wednesday Tony took the day off and ran some errands with Devin in the morning while I did school with Elizabeth. After school we went to Gardner Village and did their super fun witch hunt, and got lots of cute pictures of the kids in their Halloween shirts. The kids were really good at finding the witches! We got our cookie and left to get lunch at Applebees. Then we drove to the Avenues in Salt Lake where Tony had an appointment with a GI as he's been having some issues. THAT did not go AT ALL as planned. His appointment was at 3:45, and we got there about 3:30(as they tell you to come about 15 minutes early) we had planned on driving up toward home and stopping by Black Island Farm to do their fun Halloween activities after his appointment. But we ended up waiting in the waiting room for over an hour and a half!! It was just after 5 when they FINALLY took him back to see the doctor!!!! So we adjusted our plans a bit and stopped by Target to pick up a couple kid friendly Halloween movies, then got the kids Square Pumpkin meals from Arctic Circle for dinner, came home and watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Treats, and it all worked out in the end, to be a great day!(minus the forever wait at the doctor). Yesterday we watched the BYU football game, and our kids made adorable cheerleaders! Tonight we're taking them to Bravo for their date night program, so Tony and I will get four hours to ourselves! I'm REALLY looking forward to it!! And that's that!

Decorating for Halloween!
Okay going back a couple weeks ago to Monday Sept. 29th. That morning Devin had preschool and I was notified that they were moving him to the Tue-Thurs morning class after the Fall Break. that evening was Elizabeth's Theater class but for some reason I was thinking it started at 5, so that's when we got there....but it actually starts at 4, so we missed it. :/ Elizabeth took it pretty well though and I let the kids play at the playground there....Elizabeth quickly made a friend so she was good. Tuesday was just the kid's Bravo classes, except there was a bit of a snafu with Devin's class and there ended up with no teacher, and the alternative plan was to put them with the 6 and up tumbling class, which obviously wasn't a good solution, so they ended up cancelling the class and refunding us for that day. Luckily Devin found a really fun Chuck truck to play with while Elizabeth did her piano class. Wednesday and Thursday were typical days. Friday Elizabeth did Spanish with my mom, which she was very excited about! Saturday morning Ketty watched our kids for us while we went to an appointment with our financial adviser, where we got some great news! As she was looking over our credit reports she noticed that when we short sold our condo the Mortgage company reported it on our credit as a cash settlement, instead of a delinquency, so she told us that we can qualify for a mortgage loan two years after our last payment which was June of 2013. So in short we can buy a home as soon as next June!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! After that awesome meeting we stopped by Desert Star to schedule and purchase our season tickets for next year(which is our Christmas gift to each other) then went to pick up our kiddos. We visited for a bit then got some lunch on the way home. We chatted with my parents for a bit then my mom watched the kids while my dad came and helped us organize and clean up our storage unit....it's so much nicer now! My parents graciously got us dinner from Texas Roadhouse to go and I think we watched some football or something...such a terrible memory! Sunday a typical Sabbath day that went well. Last Monday was preschool/school and we actually made it to Elizabeth's theater class! She is really enjoying it!! Tuesday after school the kids and I decorated for Halloween....the kids had been asking and looking forward to it for weeks! And they really enjoyed it! They loved listening to and dancing to The Little People Halloween CD, playing with the Halloween toys and reading the Halloween books! That night was Bravo classes. Wednesday Elizabeth finished reading her first chapter book of the school year, it's a 2nd grade basal reader called Busy Times, and it's 245 pages! She and I were so proud of her!! She really got into the story as well! That afternoon we took Devin to Cookie Cutters in Bountiful to get his haircut. That evening we had been planning on going to a local Fire station open house but Tony drove past it and it was CRAZY crowded and busy and our kids don't fare well in that situation so we opted to pass. Thursday Elizabeth was super excited to start reading another Magic Tree House series book called Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve. She read two chapters that first day! She never wants to put it down! She'll be done with it by Monday!! Friday Tony picked up pizza on the way home and we had a pizza and movie night. Saturday morning we did our grocery shopping, then went and looked at a Symphony Homes model home(they are too expensive for us...very nice homes but $$$!) Then we went over to a Castlecreek Home(which is who built my parents house). They are much more affordable, and we even found a really nice floor plan. After that we got lunch and came home and did some cleaning and reorganizing around our place. Sunday we had conference on while we cleaned up our master bedroom and closet which were both hot messes, but look so nice now! We had a nice Sunday dinner and that was pretty much it!
Here are pictures from our Halloween decorating day!
Along with the fun Little People Halloween songs we listened to this wonderful aroma was in the air!
The kids playing, reading and in Liz's case dancing!!
One week at Elizabeth's theater class they had a snowman day, her teacher sent her home with the makings of a snowman and this was her result! She tells me it was just as yummy as it was cute!
Devin passed out during a movie night!
