Tony's Birthday!!!!

Tuesday was Tony's 27th birthday and I convinced him to take it off well me and SLCC's career fair! ;) He went to that in the morning because L3 Communications was supposed to be there and he'd love to get a job there as that's where my mom works and so we know the nice perks it comes with(like 3 weeks vacation the day you start and good health care and retirement and such) but alas when he got there L3 was nowhere to be found, but he talked with another company that was interested in him so we'll see where that goes. Then he came home and Liz and I finished getting ready then we headed out to the Children's Museum as we had coupons Tony is such a great dad to spend his special day enjoying seeing his daughter oh so very happy! And that she was!! I don't think she's ever had such a good time! We couldn't get her to stop for a second as you'll see in the pictures she was just having a ball!! She loved pretty much everything and we had such a good time!

Afterward we let Tony choose where to have lunch as is was after all his birthday, and he chose to go to a Mexican place(mostly probably because we don't have Mexican much) I can't recall the name of the place but he got real good Mexican food so he was a happy boy! Elizabeth liked the tortilla but that was about it and they even had a burger for me! Then we went to Iceberg for shakes and as we were sitting in the drive thru looking at the menu I noticed that you got a free shake on your birthday!! So Tony's was free, so I got a more expensive one naturally ;) we then went home and put Liz down for a nap, then later that evening we were wondering what to do, I wanted to do something fun for Tony so I suggested that we go to Nicklecade since the last time we went we had a blast, and with his SLCC ID he gets in free so we loaded up and went and when we got there the poor girl working the register had been in a car accident and was worried about her car(she seemed fine) so she really didn't want to be there so she kindly let me in free also! And she gave us two free admission passes as well!!! And we did indeed have tons of fun! Elizabeth's favorite for sure was the carousel, she had a big old smile on her face! I got some serious tickets from the "nickel pusher" wheel of fortune game, as did Tony from that and other games...Elizabeth even did her part finding random left tickets she ended up with like 20 tickets herself! We cashed them in for some fun little toys for little girl then went over to Subway for dinner then met Tony's parents back at our house where they gave him his gift of BYU car magnets and a quarter sheet baking pan. We had a nice visit with them then we ate our sandwich and then I gave him Liz and my gift to him which was simply what he asked for a Joseph Smith book on CD to listen to in his car, and of course our love and devotion as well!
Here are the pics from the Childrens Museum(there are alot Liz had tons of fun!!)
She insisted on wearing her "butterfly ears" and I couldn't get them off her until she found the doggie rocking toy! She can be such a stubborn little thing! In her defense she was wearing a butterfly shirt so at least it kinda matched!! :)
