Such a Busy Life!

A couple weekends ago we went up to my parents house on Saturday and helped decorate the really high ledge in their living room. I think it turned out very nice...should've taken a picture, but of course I didn't, so you'll just have to believe me! That night we went to dinner for my mom's birthday. Sunday we were back up there for the family birthday party for Eric and my mom. It was the first get together they've had upstairs since the big remodel was finished. Monday Elizabeth got to bring a friend to gymnastics and she was very excited to have her friend Liza with her in class. They looked like they had a lot of fun together! Tuesday was swimming lessons, Wednesday we had family time, Thursday was swimming again...she loves swimming lessons and she's getting so much better at listening and following her teachers instructions! Makes me happy! Friday morning we had Devin's therapy, Elizabeth was so sad when she woke up sounding a bit sick so she couldn't go to her friend Liza's house, luckily she was ok with playing in her room. Devin had physical therapy first, he's working on cruising and "prep walking". He didn't want to have anything to do with it though and every time we tried to get him to try something he'd get upset and throw his little fit, so after about 30 minutes we gave up and just moved on to speech. Which he was much more cooperative with. He's slowly learning a couple new sounds, and understands things in sign language but still not spoken word so much. He has further hearing evaluations next week. He's starting to babble more again which is comforting. Saturday we had our nephew Carson's 2nd birthday(we have a ton of birthdays from the end of January to March between both our families, it's kinda crazy!) After the party we went swimming as a family. Elizabeth had soooo much fun! Devin was extremely tired but had fun snuggling with mommy and daddy. Both the kids have little colds right now but they're not too bad, Elizabeth's is mostly a stuffy nose and Devin's is mostly a cough. Hopefully they won't last long!
