Memorial Day Weekend-Part 3

Phew!  We had such an amazing and fun long Memorial day weekend!  Sunday we chilled, cleaned and organized a bit.  Elizabeth played some learning apps I downloaded for her on my(more like the kids!)Kindle.  I was really impressed with how well she did the 1st grade app, she was spelling five letter words, matching contractions and compound words, doing fractions, and doing sequencing!  I was SO impressed!  We also had another movie night, complete with popcorn!
Monday(Memorial Day) we slept in(longer than we anticipated, but we were NOT waking the kids up, the point was to let them get the sleep they need), then after getting all ready we went to Chuck E. Cheese(after using Tony's email to get more really good coupons).  When we got there, there was only one other family there!  We practically had the place to ourselves....and it stayed that way for a while!  The kids had an absolute blast!  Elizabeth was thrilled to get to meet Chuck, and dance with him, and even get free tickets from him!(three times actually as he came out every hour on the half hour) She was the happiest girl in the world!  Devin was even pretty fond of him, though at first he wouldn't stand next to him for a picture but the third time he finally did! As part of one of our coupons we got a pizza and drinks for lunch.  Towards the end Elizabeth found a fun friend named Olivia and they had a really fun time together.  After playing themselves out we turned in our tickets and the kids each got a few fun little toys...great morning!  We went home let Devin nap, visited with my parents and Eric and Jen, gave Daniel his birthday present, then took the kids to McDonalds for dinner and let the kids play at the play place. And that was our fun-filled Memorial day weekend!
