Ok so going back a couple weeks to the week of the 5th, it was a typical week at the trailer, lots of playing, school, fresh air, good weather, beautiful sunsets.....we really love it here! Saturday the 10th we got up got everyone washed and dressed up for family pictures with my parents and Jen and Daniel. We did them at the Farmington Lagoon Trail. The kids looked adorable and I love how well the colors we picked worked out! It was a really great beautiful place for pictures!! We had my Aunt Ellen and Uncle Greg come help and take the pictures. None of the kids were in very fine form this year, but we still managed some really great pictures. Afterward we all went back to my parent's house and had lunch and visited and admired my parent's new class A Motorhome. It's brand new and oh soooooo nice! And best of all it's absolutely perfect for them!! They are going to travel comfortably and in style from now on and especially after they retire in a few years! I'm so happy for them! It did make us so wish we could get our nice one, but our time will come! After everyone left we put our very tired and ornery kiddos down for some much needed quiet time. Lizzy just played quietly and Devin actually fell asleep and slept for several hours! Meanwhile Tony and my dad went to Camping World to use a coupon we needed to use, and my mom and I just chatted. Our original plan for the day was to go the The Corn Maize in Ogden, but Devin slept long, it was pretty hot and we were just too tired to tackle an outing like that. So instead after dinner we took the kids to see Hotel Transylvania 2 as they love going to the theater and haven't been in a while. It was really cute and funny and the kids really enjoyed it! Sunday I wasn't feeling well, so we didn't make it to church. We got stuff packed up, and after dinner Tony loaded up his truck and went back to the trailer. Monday morning the kids and I had a "chill morning", then after lunch we cleaned up and packed up so that after Lizzy's theater class we were heading back up to the trailer too.
Fun in the trailer...and out of it too! ;)
Going for an evening stroll :)
Holbrook family pictures!
The kids being goofy and then good. :)
The light was tricky in this one
It took a few takes to get a good one ;)
And same with this pose
Tony had a great idea to do a fun picture of what our family is really like...aka Devin not looking, Lizzy being her center of attention loving self and mom and dad just exhausted!
Here is a fun candid one of Daniel just being his usual crazy self!
My adorable Parents!
My dad standing in the prickly vines
Devin saying "one" about something
We tried so hard to get a good picture here of the three of them....but they just wouldn't have it!
The whole crazy clan! :)
Trying to get a picture of our cuties...who didn't want to look at the camera AND smile. ;)
They managed it!!
Then we threw Daniel in the mix
I love Lizzy's face!! (she's actually trying to blow the leaves off the tree ;) )
Trying to get yet another big group picture
Daniel's face!! Love that boy!!!
The boys just could NOT keep their shirts DOWN!!!
One of our family and a couple of Jen and Daniel
My parents, and with the grand kids too
The grand kids
Tony had another great idea to get a picture of my parents holding hands walking with the kids!
This bridge was great but the lighting was tricky again
The kids were done so they all got scolded pretty regularly at this point ;)
Treat break! (yes we bribed them to smile at the camera with treats :) )
My dad and the kids throwing leaves into the river below
Last photo spot....too bad Devin was totally done(and the other two weren't far behind) at this point!
Phew pictures are exhausting!!! But we are such a happy family, being looked after by Eric our angel, who once again was surrounding us in the sunshine.
