Camping in Manti

So turns out you go to Manti for three reasons...you live there, the Manti pageant, or for the hundreds of ATV trails. Well we sure don't live there, the pageant was over and we don't do ATVs, so...we ended up walking their little main street as even the visitor information isn't open on Saturday! We did however find a nice little park by like the only public restroom in town!! And they do have a quaint little sweet shop we got some goodies from, then we had lunch at a pizza place there on Main where we were the only ones there! Which was good cause Elizabeth was being dramatic and stubborn very loudly! Then we just went for a drive to nowhere in particular so Elizabeth could take a nap without baking in the tent, we drove past the prison in Gunnison and alot of other tiny towns, we drove past Palasade where we'll be staying the end of August, it looks like tons of fun!! We stopped by The Malt Shop in Ephraim, on the way back and got yummy ice cream, Elizabeth must have known cause she woke up just as we pulled up to the drive thru! When we got back to camp we took some time to of course swim in the pool, which is always fun especially when Tony is with us! That evening after dinner we went over to the playground and found the super sonic slide that you shoot down like a bullet! Elizabeth couldn't get enough of it! She absolutely loved it...it's the closest thing to a roller coaster someone her size can get! Sunday we wandered the absolutely beautiful Temple grounds then headed home, it was a very nice, relaxing weekend and we had lots of fun as always!
