Oregon Vacation First Two Days

So I've been meaning to post about our best vacation yet but as there were literally hundreds of pictures to go through it's taken me a bit and I decided the best way was to just post about a couple days at a time so here's the first two days:

Friday July 23th
We got up at the forsaken time of like 6am, as too get on the road early as we had a long way to go that day, we were hoping that Elizabeth would just go back to sleep and sleep til we got to our first rest stop but no such luck as I was carrying her to the motorhome she heard a dog bark and said "doggie...woof woof" and she was awake. We drove for about 3 hours and stopped just inside Idaho for a potty break and to grab some breakfast as we got on the road again for another 2 hours, then we stopped in Meridian ID for gas and some lunch at an awesome park they have there that Elizabeth could not get enough of!! Then we were once again on the road, we stopped every couple hours or so to get out and stretch and go potty we ended up driving a good five more hours(with stops) before we reached our place to sleep for the night it was called Eagle Hot Lake in Le Grand. They had to best pool ever!!!! It was such a nice warm temperature!! Elizabeth showed off her swimming skills to G-ma and G-pa for a while after they got her ice cream and we called it a day!

Saturday July 24th
We once again got up and the far too early time of 6am to get another good start on another full day of driving. We drove for a couple hours then stopped for breakfast and such then drove for about another hour or so and stopped at The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center in The Dalles. It was a pretty cool place! And we had a good time walking through it. We didn't stay too long as we had a long way to go again so we loaded up and were off to our next stop which was Multnomah Falls, this was the most tense part of the the entire trip! My dad went on a scenic byway that too you to a parking lot for the falls, but it definately was not intended for 50 foot long motorhomes!! It was barely equipped for two cars! It was NARROW and windy...but we made it through, barely and pulled off at a view point of the Columbia River for lunch and to get our breathing back to a normal pace ;) We arrived at Heceta Beach RV Park in Florence OR after 12 hours 8 of which we spent driving!! We were all so impressed with how well Elizabeth did I honestly thought she'd be much worse than she was! But we were so happy to have that part behind us! Enjoy the pics!
