Sunday morning we got up bright and early enjoyed the hot breakfast at our hotel then boarded their shuttle and got to Disneyland just before it opened...the kids weren't too keen on the waiting for it to open part. But once in the magic swept over us with quite the thrill! Right off the bat we visited Mickey and Minnie...and we just missed Donald, who we found out later doesn't come out much or stay out long. But we thought it was a great start to the day! We walked toward Sleeping Beauty's Castle to Zippidy Doo Da as Elizabeth sang along...let Elizabeth's state of euphoria begin!! I took Elizabeth through the Castle but it was pretty dark so she wasn't too sure about it. Then we rode rides! Snow White's ride was of course first and though it's said to be the scariest ride Elizabeth did really well and enjoyed seeing her favorite princess and going through her story(she said it was like in Super Why!) Then we of course had to ride the carousel! We also rode Pinocchio, Mr. Toads Wild Ride and the Tea cups which Elizabeth LOVED!!! And Devin HATED! Poor boy Disneyland is just not his cup of tea(pun totally intended). Then we rode It's A Small World, Elizabeth was very excited for this one as it's the only place you can see Lilo and Stitch! It was also one of Elizabeth's "most favorite rides!" Devin slept through it...but that's probably for the best! Then we headed over to California Adventure for Lunch at Ariel's Grotto with some of the princesses! There was a bit of running around due to a mix-up with the tickets that had us a bit frazzled and in a bit later than we'd planned but all got worked out and Elizabeth was thrilled to the bone to see Ariel awaiting us. Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, and most important Snow White also came by say hi, sign her book and get a picture taken with her! The food was pretty good too! It was well worth the happiness it brought to Elizabeth! Oh and how could I forget the dance! You see if you asked Elizabeth what the one thing she wanted to do in Disneyland it was dance with Snow White...and dance with Snow White she did!! That moment alone was worth every penny...every stress...every sacrifice it took for this trip! Words cannot even describe that moment for her! It was very special! After lunch we went on the new Ariel ride which is very cool! Then as we were heading out we stumbled upon Chip and Dale...man were they FUN!! They had a hoot with Elizabeth and Lovey! Then we headed back over to Disneyland where we visited with silly Pluto and Goofy. Then we found ourselves a prime spot for the parade, and while we were waiting for it to start Elizabeth I went and visited with the Mad Hatter and Alice! The parade is to say the least absolutely AMAZING!! We loved it!! After the parade we headed up to Toon Town where Elizabeth had a ball!! We went through Mickey's house where we met Sorcerer Mickey, then we went through Minnie's house, then I took Elizabeth on Gadget's Go Coaster...this girl is a thrill lover! She laughed the entire time! We let the kids play in Goofy's backyard for a bit, then we went and found a table to have our packed dinner at. We rode the Storybook land Train, then the infamous Dumbo ride that Elizabeth had been looking forward to and asking a lot about... and it did not disappoint, she and Tony had a really good time on that one! Then we just wandered a bit, watched the amazing fireworks show then booked it over to meet our shuttle back to the hotel. What a day!
