Fun at the Beach!

Friday after we finished up at Sea World we headed over to Mission Beach...Elizabeth could not have been more excited!  She's waited a long  time to go to a real beach and she was NOT disappointed!  Neither of the kids were huge fans of the ocean but the water was still a bit chilly and since neither of our children have an ounce of fat on their bones they got cold pretty fast.  Playing on the beach was a hit though!  Devin was fine as long as he was on a towel and didn't actually touch the sand til just before we got ready to leave...Elizabeth on the other hand loved every bit of it!!  After getting into our nice dry clothes we went to a place we thought was an eating establishment...but turned out to be the best souvenir shop ever!  So we picked up some great inexpensive souvenirs!  It was a great way to spend the afternoon/evening!  After not having much luck finding a nice place to eat we ended up just having McDonalds in our hotel room, which Elizabeth still found quite thrilling!
