Gardner Village Scavenger Hunt
Last Wednesday our niece Emily came over and spent the day with us, I felt kinda bad cause we didn't really do anything fun that day as I was unpacking from our little trip. She spent the night with us(which Elizabeth was soooo thrilled about!) Thursday I tried to make up for our lack of fun the day before. So I packed us a lunch and we went over to Gardner Village and did the historical scavenger hunt. A lot of the answers could be found by reading the plaques, then some of them were pictures we had to find what historical building they were by. Emily did a great job reading the plaques and finding which question they answered, and Elizabeth was our lookout for the picture questions and she did a fantastic job! We found all the answers and learned a lot about the history of Gardner Village and Utah as well...at least I did ;) After we finished we found a picnic table and had our lunch, then we went over and Emily and Elizabeth fed the very happy to be fed ducks! Devin did really good during the hunt but started getting tired by the time we got to the ducks, it helped that there were very few people there. It was a great and fun way to spend our morning!
