Fun at Lagoon!

Wednesday June 18th we had a family Lagoon day and it was soooo much fun! The kids had a blast and were actually pretty good...Elizabeth did have to work on her patience and waiting her turn in line but I feel like she learned a good lesson that day! They are ride junkies! Elizabeth went on everything! She was most excited to go on the roller coaster called The Bat, she went on it several times between going with Tony and me. But our biggest surprise was that Devin was even into everything this year! Even the roller coaster Bombora! His favorite was probably the Dinosaur Drop and Red Rock (Jeep) Rally. They both also really loved Tidal Wave(or as they referred to it, the pirate ship!) We got there when it opened at 11am and left about 9 at night...it was a great fun filled day!
And then we even used the bounce back promotion to go back the next Wednesday, it was just the kids and I until Tony got there after work. It was warmer and better weather the second time so it was also far more crowded, so Devin struggled a lot more having to wait in line longer and not having his pick of things....he had a particularly hard time on the bumper cars, he completely melted down when all the blue cars were taken, I was trying to talk him into a green one when a nice older boy traded him his blue car, I felt awful that everyone had to wait because of him, but all survived. I did make him sit out while Elizabeth went on it a few more times so he'd understand that it wasn't ok to be like that, and he definitely got the massage, and shaped up! Elizabeth had a few trying moments herself, but we got through them and had a great time the second time around as well!
