Life and Times of The Johnston family: Last Day In Disneyland and Coming Home

Monday was our last day in Disneyland and we made the most of it! We got there before it opened, then spotted Alice(from Alice in Wonderland) so we chatted with her, then walked onto the Storybook Land Canal boat ride. Then we walked onto the Teacups! We went over to Toon Town but it wasn't open yet so we walked onto It's a Small World as it's one of Elizabeth's favorite rides(although this time Space Mountain took the number one spot :) ) And when we were done Toon Town was open so we did all the fun there is to have there! We went on the Roger Rabbit ride, and wandered through the town taking in all the fun. The kids LOVED Goofy's backyard and his house too! They thoroughly enjoyed looking through Minnie and Mickey's house as well as Chip and Dale's treehouse and Donald's boat! Elizabeth and Tony went on Gagdet's Go Coaster(Devin was pretty burnt out by this point in fact I didn't get a picture of them on the coaster cause Devin was having a meltdown over the sun being out, and all the people looking at Mickey's car and he didn't want anyone to see it....ugh) after that we'd seen all there was to see and so we left Toon Town and went and rode some of their favorite rides. Oh and we also did Casey Jr's Circus Train. We had lunch at Village Haus Restaurant in Fantasyland. Then we went on Snow White's Scary Adventure which the kids actually were okay with! Then Tony and Elizabeth went on Space Mountain, I took Devin on the Buzz ride one last time. Tony and Liz went on Big Thunder Railroad, I'm pretty sure we went on the Alice in Wonderland ride again at some point, oh and dumbo again. Then we went on the Monorail. Then we'd done everything we wanted to there so we went over to California Adventure. We went on the Ariel ride again for Elizabeth, and the Toy Story ride for Devin. We went on the fun carousel again. We went into Carland and had dinner at Flo's V8 Cafe, which was really good food! The kids got kids meals in a Lighting McQueen car! (I ate Devin's meal). We sat and watched the cars from Radiator Springs Racers zoom by, it was a great place to eat! Then we had the photopass photographers take our pictures in a couple different places in Carsland which looks absolutely awesome at night all lit up! We went back to Disneyland as we had totally forgotten to get our picture at the front! Then we got some Delicious ice cream in a mickey sink! After that we went to the World of Disney store and got our last souvenirs, including Elizabeth's Aurora princess dress, and our t-shirts and such. I was so impressed with Elizabeth's spending skills. She had a certain amount on a gift card and she went around adding up how much the things she wanted would cost, and with just a little help from me figured out what she really wanted with the money she had to spend. It was actually really cool to watch! Devin's stuff was pretty much all Buzz related(when he obsesses on something he goes 100%!). Elizabeth's choices were much more varied. After that we called it a day, Tony and I couldn't help but get some of the delicious pizza one last time on our way to the hotel. :) Tuesday we packed up and spent the day driving home. I'm consistently amazed at how great our kids are traveling in the car! Seriously! 12 hours straight doesn't even phase them! We've driven home from Canada in a day and they were awesome! We drove home from Disneyland in a day and again they were AWESOME! I love it!! And we're really going to put them to the test in July when we drive to Louisiana...I'm not at all worried though. If any kids can do it, it's our kids!
