Ok so going back to the week of April 13th, Monday was a typical school and theater day. Tuesday was preschool/school then we went over to Anne's house so Elizabeth and Phenley could play, and Anne and I could chat. We stayed all afternoon! And drove home very slowly in a spring blizzard! Wednesday was school in the morning, and playing in the tons of snow most of the day. Elizabeth concluded that Elsa must have come. ;) Then we had Bravo classes in the evening. Thursday was a pretty crazy day! I dropped Devin off at preschool, then Elizabeth and I went to the homeschool co-op. I left a little early to pick Devin up, then came back and got Elizabeth. We came home had a quick lunch then went to Devin's OT, Elizabeth had to come as there was only an hour between their sessions. Anna got to see how uncooperative Elizabeth can get, especially when things aren't going her way. Devin had a good session anyway though. We went to my grandparent's house to visit and play for a while until it was time to go back for Elizabeth's OT. Devin did pretty good while it was her turn. Then we came home had dinner then bed! Friday I'm honestly not sure what went down, but I'm sure we did something fun. ;) Saturday was a shopping and such day. Sunday was a catch up on chores and relax day.
Monday the 20th I dropped Elizabeth off to play at Ashley's house, then Devin and I drove to Riverton to see his Neurologist. That was.....well just one more thing. Devin's going to need some physical therapy and help connecting his brain and muscles and reflexes. He was also very concerned at the high level of social anxiety Devin displayed with him. He suggested some supplementary therapies that would help and that have been suggested by others as well. That evening was Elizabeth's play rehearsal. Tuesday I took Devin to preschool then Elizabeth and I met Tisha, Ashley and their kids at the Layton park to play. I picked up Devin after preschool and brought him back to the park. Ashley and Tisha helped me have a good vent/cry session, then we went to Tisha's for a while. Came home did dinner and bed. Wednesday morning Tisha watched Elizabeth while I took Devin to an appointment. We chatted afterwards. That evening was Bravo, then dinner and bed. Thursday I dropped Elizabeth off at Ashley's and she took her to co-op, I dropped Devin off at preschool, then I talked to Tisha's sister, who is a therapist, and we started working through some things, it was long over do, and extremely helpful. She suggested I speak with her daily to start working through things, I've pent up and pushed down for a long time. I picked up Devin from Preschool, then Elizabeth from co-op, we came home had lunch then in the afternoon went over to Tisha's as the kids really wanted to play with their friends. Tisha and Ashley did a essential oils and massage healing type session on me which really helped me mentally and emotionally. After that we came home had dinner and then went to bed. Friday morning I had a particularly difficult session with my therapist, so Ashley came over to be with me after and then took my kids to her house while Tisha took me out to "help" her with her some errands. I picked up my kids, left Devin with my mom and took Elizabeth to her medication follow up with her pediatrician, which went very well. Saturday my mom and I took the kids to the mall and they played in the play area while I used some Gymboree Bucks we had earned. Then we went to Barnes and Noble and each of the kids got a new book. We came home and played for a bit then my parents took us to chick fil e for lunch and the kids had a grand time playing in the playplace. Then we came home and did stuff around the house. Sunday we did a lot of cleaning up of the house, and just taking it easy too. I visited with a couple of sisters from the Relief Society presidency, and Tony went to his parent's house for his mom's birthday thing then we had dinner with my parents, watched Curious George for movie night and called it!
Snow Day!
