Christmas Eve--Holbrook Family Party!

The next week was full of anticipation and excitement as Christmas was on Friday! Lizzy was supposed to have a med check with her pediatrician that Tuesday, but it was another very snowy...bad weather day, so I called and rescheduled for the beginning of January. On Christmas Eve my mom the kids and I went to breakfast at McDonalds, so they could get some energy out in the play place, and kill some time too! After that we came home and just played and did Christmasey things. The evening was my mom's party, with the traditional Southern comfort foods! MMMmmmmm grits, ham and buttered Texas toast!! She also made jambalaya of course which is always a big hit with the guys! Then it was present time, which was on a much smaller scale since the trip to Disneyland was their main gift.

 Aunt Jen got him the Paw Patrol Pup Pad and he was THRILLED!!!!

 She got Lizzy the Barbie Zoo Doctor and obviously it was spot on!!

 We got my mom a Peanuts desk calendar and my dad some treats and a theater gift card for them both!
