Weekend With Anni's Parents!

We had a good time when my parents came up over the 24th of July. That Saturday morning my mom and I went to the local pioneer museum on the state fair grounds in town for a Relief Society activity in our ward. My mom and I had a REALLY good time wandering through the museum. There is sooooo much to see there! Tony and I went there with the kids before but I was more concerned about the kids not touching things and keeping up with them that I appreciated it a whole lot more with my mom! I'll let the pics take it from here.

The amazing train museum!

We actually got to go inside! It was really cool!

Lizzy is pretending to order from a menu! :)
Tony's thinking, I could work with this! ;)
 Lizzy pretending to stir.

 Going down the narrow hallway.

 Going to another train car.
Each compartment had a seat, pull down bed and Devin is sitting on the potty.

 The bed.
`These were like suites! They could be separated into two rooms or opened up for more space.

 Another narrow hallway.

 Off to yet another one!
This was a nice train car!

Family picture in front of the infamous Jackalope!

And in front of the train.

The kids with Nana and Papa.

Sunday after church we took my parents to Ayres Natural Bridge. We let the kids play in the water and had a BBQ dinner there!
The water was ice cold!! But my dad and the kids didn't seem to mind much...I'm pretty sure they went numb after a while!

 Lizzy's thinking, yup papa's nuts!

 Warming up in the sun!
 Devin wants dinner.....NOW!
But I got him to turn that frown upside down!

She sweet talked papa into pushing her super high on the swing,

They played American Ninja Warrior on the jungle gym.

This is how my dad camps recreated these days ;)

We sat out in front of our home on wheels with my parents each night enjoying the great weather and visiting. With both Tony's parents and mine we got away for a nice date night while the kids slept over with both their grandparents. They both also had the opportunity to enjoy the wonder meals and treats offered her at the best KOA ever! Our kids showed them both their new tricks at the swimming pool. My dad even had some fun in the pool with Lizzy! We really enjoyed having them visit!
