What We've Been Up To

Once again I've neglected this poor blog, we've just been having such a great time up here! We finished up school(more like just decided we were done one day) at the end of June. I found some fun super hero workbooks at Sams Club that the kids have sorta been doing during the summer...ya not really....but it's the thought that counts, right??! We've settled into a bit of a laid back summer routine. The kids get up and have kindle time, then breakfast, get dressed play usually outside. They've made friends with a 9 year old girl Lilly and 4 year old Woody. They like to play together a lot! Then I read from a chapter book while they eat lunch, then it's quiet time in their room, sometimes I let them watch tv or play the Wii but usually they just play and chill and look at books. Then we usually try to hit up the pool until dinner time, then it's do whatever til bedtime! And that's our life right now. The KOA does free s'mores each weekend, they do breakfasts and dinners, soda floats, cotton candy and ice cream socials and our kids LOVE the kids crafts! They've made a cowboy hat, a wind chime and a bird feeder so far. They've done a movie night with popcorn which was fun. This is the best campground I have EVER stayed at! We are really gonna miss it here, but it has been the best place to spend our summer!

 We spent a weekend in June at my parents' house, when their rooms where still intact....this is what we found both nights after putting them to bed in their own rooms......I don't think they mind sharing a room much. ;)
