Stress Relief

So Wednesday of last week I came home from work and told Anni that i needed to relieve some stress and that i needed to detail the Pilot. I am weird when it comes to relieving stress and like to get my hands dirty with some car wash and some good old wax. She did not care, after all she loves it when I get her car cleaned. I had to take two tests on Saturday for my classes and we worked it out to where I dropped Anni off at her parents so she could visit with them while I was taking my tests. I got done with my tests and the rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning and waxing. It felt good to put some headphones on and just lose track of time. I was able to get the exterior cleaned and looking pretty good. I don't think the Pilot has ever seen a wax job, it has not been done since we bought it.

Here are some of the before pictures, it rained just before i could get it washed.

And a few of the afters

Check out the reflection!

Here is one of my favorite shots, check out that reflection.
When I felt the paint it felt like glass!

Nice and Clean!

Anni loved the results and we both said it looks so much better then the day we bought it! Relieving stress always feels good and I liked the results I was able to get.

Tummy Pic

This is my first tummy picture(by request) I'm 23 weeks along. We haven't done one before this because I didn't really show til like a week ago(in pictures anyway). Elizabeth is kinda on the small side, therefore my placenta hasn't gotten as big as fast as "normal". Me, I'll take a small baby. She may not stay small, but I kinda hope she does. I was a 6 pound something baby, but tony was a 9 pound baby, so I really hope she takes after me, and so far she has. If a wear certain T-shirts you still can't tell I'm pregnant at all! My physical therapist says it a very good thing I'm not real big cause my back would be even more worse off than it already is. Of course my tummy will get bigger but, hopefully my back will be able to handle it if it's not as big as it could be. But only time will tell. In the meantime I'm just taking it easy, trying not to think of all the things I could be cleaning or organizing, or putting away(though sometimes if it's light enough I do it anyway, I'm only human) and "relax" on the couch as the dog has claimed the chair as hers. I have gotten some painting projects to do, I'm saving those for next week, then I may really start catching up with my scrapbooking! So hopefully that's not too straining ;)

Open pool open!

Well I went to physical therapy this morning, and didn't get any of the good news I was hoping for. my pelvis was so out of wack my right leg was a couple inches longer than my left leg(just an fyi because of my scoliosis my left leg is very slightly longer than my right), so for my right leg to be that far out was not so good. She spent 20 min straightening me out, which doesn't feel real great, until all is back where it's supposed to be. She told me I have to stay down more and do less, which for an ADD person is not good news, but once she mentioned eventual hospitalization if i don't, or worse pre-mature birth, or even loosing Elizabeth, I decided I'd find a way. I'm never slow to put myself at risk, by not following dr's directions to the tee, but I'm so not about to put our baby at risk, so though I hate it I'm trying to relax a lot more. All I can say is I can't wait for our pool to open!!
So I was looking at the ultra sound pictures Tony posted(thanks love) and I've decided that they should not take up career in the photo industry, cause I would not have paid for a couple of those pics, the face and head shots make her look like something out a horror film! I mean it's nice to know her skull is all there but yikes! Not exactly a pretty smile picture, but I'm sure she'll be adorable when she makes her debut. It's so awesome to finally be feeling her more often. The last few weeks I felt her once or sometimes twice a day, this week I've felt her soooo much!! It's crazy! There really is something growing inside of me!! There's nothing like feeling her doing step aerobics on my bladder(though I wish she wouldn't) I don't see it on the outside much cause I have a tummy lifter as part of my back brace, to relieve some of the weight on my lower back, but I have seen my tummy pop up when she kicks, when I'm lying down in bed at night. It's really starting to sink in. I'm so excited!

Linda Elizabeth Ultrasound Pictures

Well Anni will be happy that I finally was able to get the ultrasound pictures scanned into the computer and put on here. Enjoy!

Here is the very first picture. It was done on the first visit, they could not get the heartbeat so the doctor wanted to make sure everything was ok. This was Anni's proof that we were not having twins!

Here is another that was taken on March 24 to get her size and measurements.

Here is a picture of her face that was taken on May 5, 2008 when we went to find out what we were having.

Here is a side shot, taken May , 2008

It's a GIRL!!! Taken May 5, 2008

Hope you enjoyed them.

About time

Well this is actually my first time posting, I mean technically I wrote the Christmas letter, but Tony posted it. So look at me reaching out. Really I'm just bored stiff, and have been meaning to write,(not that Tony's enthusiasm isn't inspiring jk love you) The reason I'm so bored has a lot to do with the fact that I'm no longer working. Not by choice! My ADD the last thing I want to do is sit around all day(I don't do bored well) and because I'm pregnant I can't take my ADD medication(poor Tony, he's still here bless his patient understanding loving heart!!) Anyway, I had to stop working because, my scoliosis is finally a problem, it's having difficulties supporting a baby(very painful difficulties) I didn't think much of it the first few months I just thought it was a pregnancy thing, but it got so bad I couldn't move, then I started getting shooting pains up my back that knocked the air out of me, so I mentioned it to my OB she looked nervous(which made me feel the same) she referred me to a special physical therapist, I had a pinched nerve in my very lower back. She explained to me that my spine was trying to collapse(That's GREAT!!!) so I kept working with my 12 four year olds as long as i could, I made it to May 9th while we got someone else crazy enough to take on my somewhat challenging class(mostly cameron john tucker) anyway I've been home all day ever since. The washed nearly everything in this place! clothes, dishes, floors. It takes me all day cause I'm only good for an hour or so, and that's with this blasted back brace thing on! But this place has never been cleaner! Shadow sure loves this new arrangement though! She gets to be out of her kennel all day, and go out twice as more and usually twice as long, she's soooooo spoiled now, I really hope it's not going to her head, cause her life's going to be turned upside down when Elizabeth is born. Well Looks like Tony's done with his homework so I'm gonna bail. Later Gater

We are excited to start to shop for little girl clothes, in fact we started yesterday. I need to get the ultrasound pictures scanned and posted so you all can see.
