Festival of Trees and Pretty Lights in Ogden!

Last Tuesday Tony and I sent Elizabeth off to the Nester's(as usual on Tuesday) and we went to Joes Crab Shack with my parents and brother, which turned out to be an ironically good choice as my mom found a free appetizer coupon and Tony found a free dessert coupon that they let us use together! It was a good dinner, then we went over to opening night of The Festival of Trees, and saw all the amazing trees, we went to the gift shop and found the perfect blanket for baby Devin, and an adorable purple knit cap for Elizabeth! We even got ourselves some yummy treats! It was a great night out!! These are the only pics we took, mostly cause we thought Elizabeth would appreciate the dog, and Elmo trees.

Last Thursday Liz and I went up to my parents house with Eric, to spend the weekend. Tony joined us for dinner Thursday for dinner as he had to go up to Weber to get his cap and gown for Graduation. Friday Tony came up after work we had a nice roast dinner then headed to Ogden to look at the lights and see Santa! All the way up Elizabeth talked about Santa and kept saying over and over "I want baby house, peas!" She was so excited! We looked at some of the lighted displays then went to stand in the line to see Santa. Elizabeth danced to the music with her daddy, and played in the snow while we waited. When it was finally her turn to see Santa she totally froze! It was so funny! We did get her to whisper I want baby house just before we left though! She loved that she got a candy cane though! Then we just wandered and looked at all the pretty lights, Elizabeth liked looking in all the little houses to see what was in them. It was lots of fun! Saturday we had lunch with my dad's dad Delayne and his wife Chris at Sizzlers as is now tradition. It's such a nice thing he does for us, and we really enjoyed visiting with family, Elizabeth was quite the entertainment! After lunch my mom and I did some shopping for our family party the next week, and Tony and my dad took Elizabeth and did some grocery shopping. It was a very productive day! Sunday we had our parents over for a turkey dinner as Tony got a 20 pound turkey from his work and there was no way we could eat it ourselves! It was a very yummy dinner! Even if the turkey cooked in record time of three and a half hours! It was a very fun filled weekend!
