A fun filled Christmasey weekend
This past weekend was such a great one! The week was not so good. Briefly, Mon. we had an OB appointment where I mentioned I was having chest pain, and a hard time breathing, she tried to get us into a Cardiologist but thanks to our crappy insurance it was difficult. Tue. it got bad so Tony got off work early and we just went to the ER where all the tests they did came back fine. Thurs. we went back to the OB, she sent us for an NST to check little boy(which he failed since he wouldn't move or breathe), then got us into see a Cardiologist, who was worried about a blood clot as one of my blood tests came back high for that, so we went over and got my legs checked for clots, but thankfully none were found. Friday I had to have another NST which went better but Devin still refused to breathe, but he was plenty active so that's good. Then my mom and I went to lunch and ran a little Christmas errand then I had an Echo done to check my heart which was fine, I have a little murmur but nothing bad, so then I spoke with the Cardiologist. That ended all the yucky tests and such. Then the great weekend started with Friday night my parents and Tony's parents and we went to the telecast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert which was to say the least absolutely amazing!! The spirit was so strong! Saturday morning we had Desert Star which was absolutely hilarious! We laughed so hard, it was great!! Saturday afternoon we had the Nester kids over to help us make and decorate Christmas cookies, and watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol, a tradition we all look forward to every year! Elizabeth had quite the good time helping with it this year, there were sprinkles everywhere!! Sunday evening we had the Johnston Christmas party. Tony's dad made delicious lasagna for dinner, and yummy treats to snack on, Ketty made super yummy cinnamon rolls that were sooo good! Then of course there were the presents. And we got just what we wanted! Russ and Alicia had us this year and got us a new DVD player(as ours died a couple weeks ago) Elizabeth got a baby accessory set with diapers and a couple bottles which is exactly what her baby dolls need! They got Devin alot of little stuff we hadn't gotten to yet, like hats and mittens and onsies, and even a cute carseat toy, a jacket and a couple outfits, it was perfect! Cassie gave Elizabeth a pink Care Bear which is her favorite color right now so naturally she loved it! But top prize definitely goes to Tony's parents, who got her the Happy Sounds Home Little people "baby ouse" which is what she's been asking for for weeks! She was so excited she started ripping the box apart! Needless to say she loves it! We had the Washknocks but since the kids couldn't make it we're saving there family gift til Christmas when the kids will be there but Tony did manage to get a nice BYU sign made for them, and I know they liked it. It was such a good night!

Hi!
I recently came across your blog and would like to talk to you about an article I wrote that I think you would enjoy (on early childhood education). I'd love it if you could drop me an email quick.
