Saturday morning we got up and got to the Hoggle Zoo just as it opened, as Elizabeth had been asking to go for a while and she watched an Elmo's World about dinosaurs so she's been asking to see them as well, and we thought jackpot the zoo has dinos right now! Well Elizabeth really didn't care for the dinosaurs, they were a bit too scary for her, and she especially didn't like the growling noises they made! But she loved the regular animals, her favorite had to be the giraffes! It was so cute, she was pointing out how long their necks were, then she lifted her chin and said "I have a long neck too, see!" She really liked the elephants and tigers as well. But the thing that takes the cake every time is the carousel...she absolutely loves it, she would go round and round, up and down all day long and laugh and grin ear to ear the whole time! Unfortunately we could only go on it once. We took her on the train for the first time as well and she thought it was pretty fun too. The only part of the dino contribution she liked was the sand pit where she could "dig up fossils" she just liked the playing in the sand part! It was a great day for it and we had a really good time!
Elizabeth riding the Zebra she talked all morning about, on the carousel.
We were married in the Salt Lake Temple August 4th 2006, and have only grown closer and more in love since! We welcomed our first child, Elizabeth September 12th 2008, and our second, Devin March 3rd 2011. It's been quite the journey so far with plenty of ups and downs, but we grow stronger and closer as we continue in faith.
