A Marvelous Monday!

This past Monday Tony took his last sick day(before he loses it) and took a "sick of work" day and spent it with us! We started the day at Discovery Gateway(or as it will always be known to me, the Children's Museum), the kids had SO much fun there! Elizabeth hasn't been since she was 19 months old(2 years ago) and this was of course Devin's first time and they both dove right into having a great time! I'll let the pictures do the explaining(as there are a TON!!) After a couple hours there we went to Build A Bear as we had a $5 coupon and I found some $6 stuffed dogs which Elizabeth was thrilled about so we spent a dollar on a very cute little wiener dog! We even picked up some red bows for Wilma the wiener dog! Then we hopped on a train and went to City Creek, and man was it CRAZY! Not as crazy as I'm sure it is on the weekends but for a random Monday it was crowded! We picked up some lunch then went to the Disney store where we scored some super cute very reasonably priced "souvenirs" for our trip in....ready for this?!....3 weeks!!! YAY!!!! Ok back to the point, you see we've been picking up little things we know the kids are going to want in the park but are going to cost 5 times more than they should just because it's from Disneyland, so by getting it here it costs much less! Don't get me wrong we'll let Elizabeth pick one maybe two things in the park(depending on price) but this way she won't feel so jipped and we won't spend as much...win win! So far we've picked up things like Disney photo albums, princess figurines, Princess notebooks and stickers, and other little things like that, Disney books, Stuffed Mickey's, a stitch pillow pet(that we got from our Disney movie reward points...it's adorable and a perfect size for little Elizabeth), Disney clothes, Some Toy Story stuff for Devin. At the Disney store we scored some Snow White and Minnie Mouse pj's for Liz, and the Princess figurines, they came out with a stuffed Snow White doll(she's easier to sleep with I'm told) and a stuffed Woody(Devin now has Bulls-eye and Woody, and he's dang cute with them!) Then we wandered some stores just to look and weren't super impressed but it was fun to wander. After letting Elizabeth play in the fountains for a bit we hopped back on the train back to Gateway and stopped by a little Jewelery store and got our watches fixed, mine needed a link taken out, and Tony's needed a battery and other little things fixed. Then we stopped by the house real fast drove out to the Shane Co. and left my ring to get sized so I can wear it again! Then we went to dinner and then took Elizabeth to gymnastics and ended the amazingly fun day with ice cream from Cold Stone(we once again had a coupon) It truly was a absolutely marvelous day!!
Sorry so many of the pictures are blurry the camera and I had a hard time keeping up with these cute kiddos!

Devin wasn't giving up that ball!

Watching the ball go through all the tubes
It sucks the balls right up!
The house was Elizabeth's favorite
Perfect chair for Devin!

Devin had some fun with this lawn mower!

She did a little class where she listened to instructions on what to do with her bean bag(off a fun CD)

Reading Alice and Wonderland...She was actually reading it, and pretty much read the whole thing by herself!
She was also an owl!
