The Coolest New Bed EVER!!!

For a few months now Devin has been getting better and better at climbing, and getting taller and taller, making the number of things he can't climb up onto, out of or off of, fewer and fewer.  So we'd been talking about getting bunk beds for the kids as Elizabeth's feet now very nearly touch the end of her toddler bed, we figured she's nearly 4 now so it's about time she get into a twin bed!  So last Saturday we made the mistake of going out to "just look" at what our options were(though I had done hours of online research for weeks previously) We first stopped at The Warehouse(a new little place that just opened) and they only had two styles and they were both way overpriced!  Then we went to the RC Willey Outlet Store...and we found what we ended up with right away!  It was hard to miss!!  It was a fire station loft bed!  We were hesitant at first about the fact it was a loft bed as we had bunk beds in mind, so we looked around at the many different kinds of bunk beds they had as our kids willingly tested them all out for us!  It didn't take long for Devin to topple head first off one of the bottom bunks...that's when the salesman of all people gave us an excellent idea, he suggested that we just put the toddler bed we already had under the loft bed!  That did it for us!   Granted this bed was about 50 dollars more than we wanted to spend but it was %75 off it's original price and on close out with only 5 beds left.  So we bit the bullet and got it...and it is the most amazing, most fun, COOLEST BED EVER!!!  Elizabeth had tons of fun helping Tony put it together and it has been the best thing to happen to bedtime since we put the kids together in the room!  Devin's bed is totally pitch dark at bedtime, just the way he needs it to sleep, and Elizabeth his all the light she needs to read her books and not be afraid of the dark!  Devin transitioned perfectly to a toddler bed!  It's been nothing compared to the nightmare Elizabeth was!  And Elizabeth loves her own space up on top so much she rarely comes down during bedtime!  It's been so great!!  So worth the extra $50!  Well here are the pictures of it getting put together and some of the fun the kids had with it!  (In some of the pictures it looks like it's in front of the doorway but it's not at all it's just the angle the pictures were taken at)

Elizabeth put these down and walked all around it saying it's an X...now it's a T...oooo it's a plus sign!!
