Elizabeth's 5th Birthday!

Thursday September 12th our gorgeous girl turned FIVE years old!!  She had a great birthday!  I got up and put up some decorations before the kids woke up.  She got pancakes(her favorite)for breakfast, we still did math and some language arts in the morning, but it was shorter than usual.  Her Aunt Jen came with Daniel shortly after we were done and gave her her first present...and it was a GREAT one.  She gave her the Snow White cottage Elizabeth's been eying in the Fisher Price magazine(and Jen didn't even know she'd been wanting it!) Elizabeth was thrilled!!  She promptly took it to her room to play with it. They had a good long time to play outside, which they really enjoyed.  She got her favorite lunch which is PB&J. Then after Devin was down for his nap we had a fun little Tinkerbell party. She even got to help make her cake!  Tony took off work early to take her to her birthday dinner at McDonalds(complete with playing at the play place!) while I did Devin's recently added home OT.  After therapy Devin and I met up with them, then Tony stayed with Devin while he ate his dinner, and I took Elizabeth to her tumbling class, where she got lots of love and attention for her birthday....they even sang to her. :)  She got to spin their special prize wheel, and would ya know it the lucky duck landed on the "two more spins" space, so she ended up with TWO prizes, and as she told the receptionist, "two is better than one!" We hurried home, and she and Devin watched a show while Tony and I did scouts(which we now do at the house as it's so much easier on us with the kids and all) it went very well.  Then our SUPER patient birthday girl waited a little longer for Nana and Papa to come downstairs(Tony had to go get Papa as he forgot and went on a walk), so at about her bedtime, she FINALLY got to open her birthday presents, and they were definitely worth the wait!  She read her birthday cards all by herself, we were so proud of her! After all the wonderful presents had been opened we lit the candles in the cake sang happy birthday, she blew them out and enjoyed the cake and ice cream.  We let her stay up for a bit and play with her new toys, then it was off to bed as her fun birthday came to a close.

I'm five now!

Playing with her new Snow White cottage

Playing outside in the oh so pleasant weather!

Pin the wings on Tinkerbell :)

Putting together a pink Tinkerbell puzzle(mommy made)

Helping make the cake(she also poured in the oil and water and cake mix, I just did the eggs!)

Look at those beautifully wrapped presents just waiting for her!

Happy to finally get to open them!

Devin gave her a stuffed Rarity(My Little Pony) he's such a good little brother! ;)

He was content just checkin' out the bag!  Elizabeth loved Rarity!

Like I said she read her cards all by herself...so proud!(she usually doesn't like to read in front of so many people)

Devin chillin' with Nana

MONEY!!!!!!!(from her great grandma and grandpa Walker)

Devin was being a little photo crasher!

More photo crashing by Devin

The opening of the "American Girl" doll(from Nana and Papa, it's not an actual American Girl, but Elizabeth didn't seem to care at all!) She's been wanting one soooo badly!

She named her Sandy, because it's the color of her hair, and Elizabeth LOVES her beautiful hair!

We got(on a great deal several months ago)her a animation series Jasmine doll.

Putting lots of pink sprinkles on her pink cake!

So focused!!

Getting tired I think...

 She loved being sung to!

Me getting the tiny stickers put on her My Little Pony Pinkie Pie train....with very poor instructions.

Elizabeth with all her birthday presents!(with the cash my grandma and grandpa Walker gave her she bought the Snow White and seven dwarfs little people set to go with her cottage)

And her birthday celebrations continued through the weekend but I'll save those for another post!
