More Birthday Celebrations!

Saturday we continued Elizabeth's birthday celebrations, by going to the Gateway mall and taking Elizabeth to Build a Bear(we had two birthday coupons, one for me and one for her.  She got to use both!) She built a princess Twilight Sparkle, and then we let her get Spike(Twilight's baby dragon friend) instead of an outfit, and we came out for the better as spike was cheaper than any outfit!  Elizabeth was very happy and excited by this surprise!  Afterward we wondered Gateway, only going in the Old Navy where I found some cute jeans for Devin, and the kids got balloons....win win!  Then we decided to go to the zoo as Elizabeth has been asking to go, and we do have the pass!  Elizabeth was very excited about this surprise as well, and we had a really good time at the zoo.  Devin had MANY challenging times, but we managed to survive.  After looking around for a while we stopped and got lunch there, then finished looking around and headed out.  Devin fell asleep on the ride, thank goodness!  We stopped by the Honda dealership in Bountiful and Tony got new blade thingies for the Odyssey's wiper blades, which were sorely needed and put on in the rain and put to good use!  Then we drove to Toys R Us, looking at car seats, as we'd like to get a better one for Elizabeth....she's too tall for the one she's in now.  We didn't find a car seat but we found some other things(Christmas presents!)on clearance, so it was a good trip.  By the time we were done there it was nearly dinner time, so we headed for home.  It was a very good day for Elizabeth!

Sunday after being sung to in primary, and such, we had dinner then my parents and we loaded up into the van and went to Tony's parents house for Elizabeth's My Little Pony party with Tony's family.  It went very well, and Elizabeth had a really good time playing with her cousins...that was probably the best gift she got!  It was a great end to great birthday celebrations!!

She even read her birthday cards in front of everyone!!  She is so confident in her reading now, I love it!

Nana and Papa gave her an American Girl Bitty Baby book and stuffed animal(from the book).

And one of her very most favorite gift was this Ariel bath barbie her cousin Melina picked out for her!

We gave her a little stuffed Apple Jack pony, she liked it too :)

We also got her a My Little Pony water bottle.

Grandma and Grandpa Johnston gave her a super cute pink BYU backpack, filled with surprises!

Blogger and I don't seem to be getting along right now, and so it's taken me a few days to get all these pictures posted....anyone else using blogger having issues with this as well?  Hoping it gets fixed cause this was a huge pain!!
