Saturday was a busy day! Tony and Elizabeth ran some errands in the morning, then we drove to the Sizzler in Sandy to have lunch with my grandpa Holbrook and my extended family. Tony and my dad got the endless shrimp and had a friendly competition to see who could eat the most(Tony won by two bowls) they had fun with the waitress as well. Toward the end Santa even made an appearance and gave the gives candy canes! It was a good lunch. Then we went to the Bountiful Cemetery to put some Chirstmasey decorations on my brother and sister's headstones. The kids were pretty wound up so they were kinda all over. After that we stopped by Willey Honda and bought wiper blades then stopped by Walmart and Tony ran in and bought a jacket(he forgot his at home, and he hasn't gotten a new one in years). Then we went to Jen's condo and Tony fixed some shelves in her laundry room and set up her internet...which took the most time, but he got it set up and working! Then Jen and Daniel came with us to Temple Square to look at lights and watch the Nativity. And we couldn't have timed it more perfectly! We found a good parking spot, the lights turned on as we got out of the car, we got to the Nativity just as it was starting, and we got a place up front! We wandered and saw lots of pretty lights(and even a really good bagpiper playing Christmas songs) and left as the crowds were coming, perfect! We all went to dinner at IHOP then dropped Jen and Daniel at home and called it a GREAT day!
