Monday was a typical day with school and such. In the evening was Elizabeth's theater class and they started working on scenes. Elizabeth was one of just a couple kids who knew all her lines quickly and confidently, she even knew what to do with her body and had fun facial expressions too....then again that's a natural thing, she always had fun facial expressions! Amber, her director, complimented her several times. Elizabeth was beaming with pride by the end and declared she LOVES playing Kristoff, even if he is a boy! Tuesday was Devin's birthday which I already posted about. Wednesday was school and we skipped Bravo because Devin was still napping off his birthday the day before, and Elizabeth didn't want to get out of the tub as she was having too much fun playing. Thursday I took Devin to preschool then Elizabeth and I went to the homeschool co-op. We had lunch there again, as Elizabeth loves eating with her friends. We came home and did some school, since we missed Tuesday. That afternoon we met up with three of my new gal pals and their kiddos at a McDonalds play place. And they had fun playing for a couple hours. We dropped Devin off with my dad then I took Elizabeth to her first OT appointment, which went very well! I can tell OT is going to be a VERY good thing for Elizabeth! Friday we had a lazy pajama day. Saturday we did some shopping in the morning. Devin took his birthday money to Toys R Us and found a super cool Baymax with Hiro toy(they're from Big Hero 6) that he loves and wanted to get with his money. Elizabeth found a very cool decorate by number mirror set by Melissa and Dough(we LOVE their stuff!) for her friend Hannah's birthday party. We used a coupon we had to get some awesome smelling candles from Bath and Body Works for cheap, then we stopped by Standard Optical so I could schedule my annual eye exam(I have a coupon for free exam and pair of glasses!). Then we came home had lunch, Elizabeth made a birthday card for Hannah and helped me wrap her present. I dropped her off at Hannah's house with her booster seat, then came back home and we went upstairs and decorated for Devin's party for my side of the family. Tony's parent's came and brought another amazing Buzz cake and stuck around for another party, cause they're great like that! Hannah's mom kindly dropped Elizabeth off after the party, and Elizabeth reported having lots and fun and being very good(which Ruth confirmed ;) ). Devin's party went well and he was spoiled some more with fun new things. We did the Buzz spaceship pinata, then had cake and ice cream. We visited for a while then slowly people started leaving. Tony's parents' and Jen and Daniel stayed and had dinner with us. Tony heated up pulled pork and we had salad and chips with it. It was delicious! Really hit the spot! Then it was time for bed. Sunday the kids slept late, at least it seemed like they did due to Day Light Saving time. We did some housework and such. Devin woke up sounding sick so I put oils on every couple hours to help him, and amazingly he hasn't needed a single nebulizer treatment!(which inevitably is needed every time he gets a cough) And he played all day, he sounded a little sick but never acted sick. Elizabeth was beyond thrilled to watch the Abraham Lincoln show from our Animated Hero's collection with lunch. Both the kids were a big help getting some cleaning done through out the day. We had dinner with my parents. Then came down and watched Oliver and Company for movie night. As we were getting Devin ready for bed we took his temp(as he felt warm) he was up to 101 degrees so I put some peppermint on his feet, and lavender on his temples and his fever went right down and he slept very peacefully. Win for essential oils! That was our week!
