Disneyland Day One!

Our first Day we started off with a Character Dining breakfast in our hotel. It was called Surfs Up With Mickey, and he was the first one we saw! The kids were so excited! We also saw Daisy whom we've never seen before! Pluto was there and to Lizzy's great surprise and immense joy Stitch was there too! Breakfast was delicious! They even made special gluten free Mickey waffles just for Lizzy! I know the character dining is a little expensive but to me it's SOOOO worth it for the great interaction you get with the characters! Lizzy even got to dance with Stitch a few times! It was a great start to the day!! Then we went into Disneyland and our first order of business was at Town Hall to get Devin and Lizzy a disability pass, this time they even told us about a tag we put on our stroller that lets us treat it like a wheelchair so Devin can stay in the stroller while waiting in the short line(in the rides that allow it) that came in quite useful! We also got pins for everyone while we were there. Then we split up as my parents, Tony and Lizzy went to ride bigger kids rides, and Jen, Daniel, Devin and I went to ride Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters. When we came out of the ride Devin found a Zurg he just had to have, but I told him he needed to wait in case he saw something else he had to have(that and Tony had the money). He didn't like this so much and refused to do anything else. So Jen took Daniel on Astro Orbiters (aka the rockets) while I tried to talk to Devin....I'm pretty sure I'd have gotten through to the chair I was sitting on faster than I did him! But finally I convinced him to move on that we could come back for the Zurg later. He decided on Autopia, so we got Jen and Daniel's tickets so we could all get a return time for Autopia while they went on their ride. Then we were off. Devin stayed in the stroller with his headphones on while in line, and kept them on for the ride and the cars are pretty loud. He was afraid of crashing so he wanted me to steer. But I think he still enjoyed it. He was then once again done with rides though. So we sat at a table while Jen and Daniel went on the Nemo ride. I called Tony and told him Devin's troubles, so we met up and just got the poor boy his Zurg. We ate our packed lunch then my mom took Daniel back to the hotel and we went on more rides with Jen and my dad. That evening it was just our family, we went on some rides and then decided to go to California Adventure which seems to be less crowded in the evenings. We went on Toy Story Mania(which turned out to be Devin's most favorite ride, and we went on it at least a dozen times!) We found a great pizza, pasta and salad place for dinner, that even made Lizzy a gluten free pizza! I got spaghetti and meatballs and Tony got a chicken caeser salad all of which was absolutely delicious! After dinner we rode a few more rides(aka Devin and I went on Toy Story Mania 3-4 more times, Lizzy and Tony went on roller coasters). In that time a thick fog settled in, it was pretty crazy! We listened to a bit of World of Color and watched the water fountains from behind the "show" which was actually pretty cool! Then we called it a day!

Mr. Toad was on the top three of Devin's favorite rides, we went on it several times over all three days.

It's A Small World, holiday version.

 Asleep with his Zurg
We got popcorn in this adorable elf Mickey for a snack while Devin napped(we did share with the kids too ;) )

More pictures I'm not sure exactly what order they go in.

Lizzy was THRILLED to meet Aladdin and the Genie, while with my parents and Tony. I'm told they had a really good time with her! (Her play this year is Aladdin, A tale told inside out)

Devin sad because we wouldn't buy him the random hat he didn't really want, but was mad about anyway.
