November Update

The first Saturday in November was a super special day for our little Miss Elizabeth. She chose to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by her father. She took her decision very seriously and was a bit nervous about making such an important covenant. I was truly amazed by her understanding of what she was doing, and quite proud of how seriously she took it. She had so many who love her come out and support her. It was really touching! Devin really struggled with the waiting, but we made it without too big of a meltdown. He was so excited to see his big sister get baptized.....he was front and center at the font. Thanks to the practice Tony had done with her, it went perfectly smooth. I met her as she came out of the font, to help her change. As we were doing that she told me that she felt different. Nothing had changed on the outside but inside she felt different in a good happy way. She asked me if that is what it felt like to be like Jesus, and I'll admit I teared up! I told yes because at that moment she was as clean and pure and perfect as her Savior who was very proud of her as were we. It was a special moment I'll never forget. After changing into her beautiful white Baptism dress we waited in the chapel for Tony. One of the Primary presidency handed out little papers to write special notes to Elizabeth on. Then she went up with all the worthy priesthood holders in her life and her father confirmed her a member of the church, gave her the opportunity to receive the Holy Ghost then bestowed upon her a beautiful blessing. After lots of hugs and congratulations we went to my parents' house for a lunch/celebration of Miss Lizzy! She had lots of fun playing with her friends and the adults visited. It was such a great day!!

Because I was in a boot(for my stress fractures) and Tony was helping make sure things ran smoothly at the get together I only have a couple pictures....Tony's dad has more so I'll add them when we get them.

Our cute little trolls!!

Doing school.....whatever works for her! ;)
Devin doesn't handle day light savings well...
Sometimes Shadow gets loves while Lizzy does school.
We spent the middle part of the month in Vernal(we didn't spend as long there because of my stupid foot. I couldn't drive and I had almost weekly appointments.) The kids enjoyed the playground while we were there though!

Shadow is all cozy.
 Lizzy helping with dishes.
Devin tellin' us how it is!
When we move the trailer everything ends up on our bed....at least it gives us motivation to put the stuff away quickly!
We bought the kids wall sticker to decorate their bunk area. They got the same ones as last time to match their bedding. Paw Patrol for Devin and Inside Out for Elizabeth.
She was even able to do hers all by herself!

 Admiring the finished product.

The only pictures I took of Thanksgiving we of the parade in the morning.

 Dancin'!

Then Devin decided he needed his kindle....but he still watched some things.
What better view is there than on daddy?!

 Chase watching on Lizzy's head.

Some parts Devin would even put his kindle down for!

 Lizzy danced a lot!

 Or perched like a bird....

In the end she wound up in her chair with a good book.

We did some Gray Thursday shopping, and on Black Friday my mom and I went out and did some shopping as well as is tradition.
A couple days after Thanksgiving we went to JC Penny and got family pictures done. We bribed our kids that if they were good for the pictures we'd go see Moana, and we even saw it in 3D! Lizzy had been to a few things at amusement parks and such that had 3D shows but she's never been able to see it, she always said it looked flat and normal. But this time she definitely saw it! The whole theater knew it! She was so shocked and amazed that the pictures were coming toward her! Why she could finally see it, I have no idea. But she really enjoyed it! She still can't see the 3D pictures she sees, but hey maybe someday!

We absolutely LOVED this movie!! We got the soundtrack as soon as we could!

Decorating the Christmas tree! I love that they're wearing matching pj's!!

Their new ornaments for this year....Black Widow for Lizzy and Chase (from Paw Patrol) for Devin!

 Lizzy being Black Widow!

Devin with one of his baby picture ornament.
Daddy telling them about the ornaments.

 Admiring his work.

 Admiring the pretty tree.
 He's so proud of himself.
Lizzy showing Shadow our 1st Christmas ornament.
 And showing Shadow her ornament.

 Shadow sleeping on my leg.
 The ornaments are all on!

Now onto Nana and Papa's Christmas tree!
But first Lizzy decorated this tiny tree with things around.

From tiny tree to giant tree!!

 Silly Papa!

Devin checking out the under view of the Christmas tree, because when you're autistic this seems perfectly logical. :)
Lizzy and Rudolph reading his story....they loved it!

 The first snow!!

Playing with the Christmas Little People sets! (Devin naturally has to line them up)
