Weekend at Palisade's!

After our anniversary getaway we drove to Palisades to meet up with my parents...oh and our cute kiddos too I suppose ;) My brother and Jen were there as well and spent the night with us...6 adults a toddler and an infant made for one full motorhome!! But it still fit us all just fine! Saturday Eric graciously got up early and rented us a paddle boat, and set up a tee time for golf in the afternoon! So after breakfast Eric, Jen, Tony, Elizabeth and I went for a paddle boat ride! Elizabeth had alot more fun with it this year, we even let her steer for a while! She did however inform us in like the middle of the lake that she had to go potty...little stinker!! After some fun with the boat Eric and Jen went and relaxed(and napped)back at the motorhome. Tony, Elizabeth and I went and swam and played in the lake...which was pretty cold at first but really nice once you got used to it. Afterward Tony and I took the paddle boat back(burning some major calories!)then walked back to the motorhome(got our exercise for the day in!) Then we all laid back and enjoyed watching Rango...or at least most of it as we had to go for our tee time just before it finished. Jen and I got to drive our hubbies around 9 holes of golf...I love driving those little golf carts, they're so much fun! The course is so pretty and there are some amazing views as well!! The guys had fun hitting a ball around(all around!;) After the game we finished the movie, Eric and Jen headed home, we had dinner and called it a day! Sunday we packed up and headed out. It was a really fun weekend!
