Devin is 7 Months old and More!

So last week Devin turned 7 months old! He's such a BIG boy! We love him so very much! He wasn't feeling very well that day but I got some cute pictures of him between the hacking and wheezing. There's not much to say about our beautiful boy...he sits up like an expert now, he LOVES baby food he's eating stage two(he didn't stay in stage one very long)he loves food! He loves to smile and laugh. He loves his big sister... most the time. He has no real desire to figure out how to crawl, and I'm ok with that...his pediatrician isn't, she wants him crawling in some form by next month or it's physical therapy for him, so we'll see what happens I guess. He loves his schedule is a much happier baby when he's on it! He can drink from a sippy cup but still prefers his bottle(unlike Elizabeth who had one use of a sippy cup and never went back to the bottle!) His spitting up is better still there but better, we're working on slowly taking him off all the help he's getting with it to see how he does. He weighs 18.5 pounds. Oh he's been rid of his early morning feeding for a while now, he eat about 9ish at night and makes it til 9ish the next morning! He finally drinks 6 oz and might drink more if we can get his reflux resolved. He's still loves to wiggle and squirm, it's a workout just holding him on your lap! He's into this hitting stage where he like to take a toy in his hand and slam it against the floor over and over...it's pretty cute! He's a drool king!!! But still only has the two bottom teeth as the third one seems to have gone back down again. He's starting to become more clingy, not sure why but he prefers to be held these days. He also isn't usually fond of leaving mom or dad...we are also not allowed to leave the room without him or else!(though we do sometimes when we need to and just deal with the screaming) He's a sucker for really soft things...he absolutely LOVES cuddling up to a soft blanket, and if he's tired a soft blanket does him in..he just can't resist it! And that's pretty much Devin right now! Enjoy the pictures!

Wednesday we had yet another vacuum bite the dust, so we once again had to get another one. This time we went with a Bissell Power Groom, it was only 80 bucks and looked good to us so I guess we'll see! So far so good. Friday my mom, Jen and I went to Kohls and found nice shirts for our guys for the family picture we're having done later this month we're wearing black white and gray and having them done at the capitol. Jen and I found some nice gray pants, though I later found some at the DI for MUCH cheaper so I took mine back. I also found a absolutely adorable overalls outfit for Devin. Elizabeth already had most the makings for her outfit, I just wanted to get a skirt for her but we didn't have any luck with that...but my mom found some super cute fabric later that day so she's kindly going to sew her skirt. Friday night Tony watched the kids while I went out and did a little shopping, it was a very nice break! Saturday we had Elizabeth's 3 year pictures done at JC Penny and they turned out so so soooo cute! I can't wait to get them Friday! After her pictures we went up to my parents house so Tony could help them get some things fixed up while my dad's left arm is still out of commission. That evening we went to Tony's cousin Robbie's wedding reception then stopped by IKEA to look around. Elizabeth was in heaven! She loved at the little mock kids rooms and beds they have out on display. We found her the cutest beagle stuffed dog that we named Max. Sunday we got in the car ready to head to church and...the car wouldn't start as the battery was dead, luckily one of our neighbors was able to give us a jump. Another neighbor had to jump us again after church, oh the joys! Sunday evening we had dinner at Tony's parents with the Nester's and Sandy is helping me with Devin's "jersey" shirt for his Halloween outfit. And that was our weekend!!
