Pumkin Days at Wheeler Farm!

Yesterday was quite the day! Tony took the bus/trax into work. The kids and I went to the Library to return some books and movies, and found quite a few Halloween books and even a couple Halloween movies! Then we went to Kohls(to return my slacks) and found the perfect Halloween shirt for Tony! Then I hit up the dollar section at the Target down there(it's WAY better than the one close to us which is always picked over) anyway I found some good stuff there as well, then after Devin took his sweet time drinking his bottle we picked up Tony from work and went to Elizabeth's Ophthalmologist(eye dr)appointment which went pretty good! Her eye's are looking ok, so no more surgery should be needed! He did agree that the frames she has now aren't working for her so we had to go buy new glasses today. I LOVE Ellen at the Moran Eye Center she knows just what's right for Elizabeth, after all she's known her since she was one! Ellen is amazing! Anywho back to yesterday...after Elizabeth's appointment we got some dinner then went out to Wheeler Farm for their Pumpkin Days, which included a kid friendly hay maze, that Elizabeth absolutely LOVED! She had such a ball running around it, she actually enjoyed finding dead ends and screaming "oh no! It goes nowhere!" There were some fun face cut-outs and bats and ghosts and witches and of course pumpkins, but amazingly she found her way out! Then we went to their "pumpkin patch" which was actually just a bunch of pumpkins set out in a designated area...but Elizabeth had a blast anyway! She found three perfect pumpkins!(one for her, Tony and me) After that we took a potty break and Devin and I watched the ducks which he really got a kick out of! Then we went on a wagon ride...it started raining a little during the ride but not too bad we still really enjoyed it! It was a great activity we all really enjoyed it, especially little girl!!
Here are the pictures...just an fyi the camera and I had a hard time keeping up with Elizabeth sometimes so just keep that in mind for some of the pictures!
