We spent a couple fun filled days at Lagoon(it down poured rain both times!! Luckily it didn't last long and we still had a great time. Devin was content to stay in kiddieland, while Elizabeth couldn't wait to go on every coaster she was big enough for. So I took Devin around while Tony went with Lizzy. Devin being OCD and all would find a ride he liked (like the speedway jr) and go on it a dozen times IN A ROW! He also did it with the little bumper cars and the rocket ride. He did go on most rides but the ones he really like he obsessed over! Lizzy LOVED going on the big coasters with Tony and would also go on them repeatedly, nearly making her father sick. ;)
One Friday my mom took the kids and I to The Tree House Museum, the kids keep asking to go back!
We went to a couple movies that month as well, after I got out of the hospital the kids couldn't wait to take me to Inside out. Tony had taken them before but they did not mind at all seeing it again! We also took them to see the Minion movie, both were very cute and fun!
We went to the Bountiful parade which was fun!
Tony and I went to a nice fireworks booth on the 25th and picked up quite a few fireworks for the evening with my parents and Jen and Daniel. Our kids absolutely LOVED them! I didn't get any pictures but believe me it was a good time! Some time around then we also went to Build a Bear with a great coupon we had.
Poor Devin really wants glasses like the rest of us ;)
Also I must mention that at the end of June Tony interviewed for and was offered a job at WW Clyde a very reputable construction company. It was a no brainer. It was a job doing what he loves to do, paid him more to do it, and had much better benefits! So half way through July he started his new wonderful job. He was assigned to a job down in a town called Currant Creek close to Duchesne. So he would be gone during the week and come home on the weekends....the kids and I lasted a week with that. But more on that in the August post!
