Johnston Family Christmas Party
Saturday night was the Johnston family Christmas party! We had a yummy soup bar and scones for dinner, Tony made a very good clam chowder! Then after dinner was cleaned up it was present time! We got to go first, we had Matt, Steph, Oscar, Aaron and Keira this year. We got the boys each a card game and Keira a baby Ariel doll, which was as big of a hit as we had hoped it would be! Russ and Alicia had us again this year and got us some Wii games, and Devin a fun little train. After everyone else went, Ketty presented Keira with a present that all the younger cousins helped her open, it was her 100 wishes quilt that Ketty made for her with squares of fabric from lots and lots of people who love her very much and are so glad she's part of our family! It was quite emotional. Then it was grandma and grandpa's turn to hand out their presents! Elizabeth got Alphie the learning robot(which she has played with non-stop since she got it!) needless to say she loves it! Devin got cute soft toys from IKEA, and they both got some fun little things in their stockings too! Melina, Elizabeth and Keira had a good time playing together after, then we loaded up a couple little boxes of some homemade goodies(thanks to Tony's dad Richard) and headed home. It was a great night!!
