Saturday we had a super busy morning! To start we had Devin's 9 month pictures which we did at JC Penny, we went with a BYU theme and Tony's parents found the most adorable outfit with a baby Cosmo hood, those pictures turned out amazingly cute! Then we managed to get him into his little Santa outfit and tolerate some pictures with Elizabeth in one of her Christmas dresses and we got some cute Christmas pictures of the two of them! We had to keep giving Devin yogurt melts to keep him happy but it worked!! Then we wandered the mall for a bit, then we got in line to see the big man himself...yes Santa Clause. We wish we'd have had the video camera! You see a couple of the kids before us like so many kids, had anxiety towards Santa that as it often does resulted in tears...or in one boys case just not wanting to get withing 5 feet of Santa, and they of course wanted a great picture that we parents would be willing to pay them for, so they had a little chat just before our turn and decided they would bring the kids in a different way as to get them on Santa's lap before they realized it...thus getting the picture. So they open the rope and let us and in and they guy starts explaining to us how to get Elizabeth to Santa's lap without tears, well he didn't get too far before Elizabeth pulls out of my grasp and RUNS over to Santa and nearly takes him out in a bear hug, and yelling "hi Santa!!!" it was the sweetest thing EVER!!! She was grinning ear to ear and absolutely beaming! Santa then told her she'd made his day. We plopped Devin on his other leg and they snapped some cute pictures for us. He was surprised to hear this 3 year old ask for an art easel so she can be an artist! He wasn't nearly as surprised to hear her ask for the Snow White doll, if fact he got the look on his face like, that's more like it! He asked her if she could be good for 3 more weeks and she assured him she could. She gave him another big hug and left the happiest little girl in the world! Here are the some of those pictures.

Then after picking up a quick lunch we headed up to my parent's house to help them finish up the last bit of painting, and Tony removed the carpet and got all ready for their new carpet to be installed today! It was kinda of a long night but we got it done!
Monday was Elizabeth's last day of Tumbling which she is so sad about now, as she absolutely LOVED her tumbling class. We're thinking of putting her into an actual gymnastics class but we're still looking at where to take her. She was so good at everything they taught her by the end and so proud of herself! It was definitely good for her in so many ways! I just hate to see it end! Next Monday is going to be a very sad day! Here are some pictures from her last class.
Here is a video of Elizabeth doing a back flip-over...her favorite!
