A Very Fun Conference Weekend!
This Friday we packed up and headed down to the Provo Area where our parents were with their RV's. After having a yummy dinner we left our cute kiddos with my parents while Tony and I and his parents and our nephew Aaron went to the BYU vs USU football game! Tony and my seats were very close to the Aggie section so I had a lot of fun singing along to USU's songs! BYU came away with the win but just barely 6-3. I'm proud of my Aggies for putting up such a good fight! It was a very very late game though so we didn't get to bed until almost 1am! And of course our kids awoke bright and early like before 7 the next morning...so we were exhausted Saturday, but we did our best to enjoy conference, at least what our kiddos would let us hear anyway! Then in between sessions we went to the BYU bookstore but didn't really find much....I did find a great stocking stuffer for Tony! But that was about it, we grabbed some lunch on our way back to the RV, then watched the afternoon session. Then we went outside and let Elizabeth ride her bike and Devin kinda ride his little fire engine to the awesome playground they had in the RV park. We so want a play set just like that one when we have a yard of our own! The kids had tons of fun and got a lot of energy out too! Then they rode back to the RVs for dinner. Sunday we watched conference and the kids just played at one RV or another. Mat and Steph(and family) came up for dinner and to take Aaron home as our parents were staying til today. We had a delicious dinner then headed home, both kids were fast asleep before we even got on the freeway! When we got home our little place was COLD!! So we pulled out the space heaters to warm things up! We bathed the kiddos, put them to bed and followed close behind! It was a fantastic weekend(as sleep deprived as we were) and Conference(what we were able to hear and pay attention to) was amazing and uplifting.
