Disneyland Day 3 (February 6, 2017)

Monday was our first day in the parks. Yes, we have been that close to Disneyland and yet have not stepped foot in the park. Part of our reasoning behind this is the weekends are busier and our kids do not handle the crowds well. We got to the gates early and waited in line. There is just something about being near Disneyland and once you walk through the gates the magic just gets to us, and puts a HUGE smile on our faces.

Our First stop was to city hall. We needed to get the Disability passes setup for the kids. This is a LIFE saver with our kids. They can not handle the crowds as it is but then if you put them in line that moves really slow does not work well. We got them setup and they picked there first ride. If I remember right Lizzy picked Hyperspace Mountain and Devin picked Buzz Light year astro blasters. One mistake we seem to make is splitting up and trying to accommodate the kids and not stick to a plan. We ended up all over the place and one of the kids would see a ride and NEED to go on it immediately, and not wait for the other to show up. Once we stopped that we stuck together and things stated to move along well. I am not 100 % sure what we did all the time but we spent most of the day in Disneyland. I am sure that we jumped over to California adventure and did rides over there. We got Devin to go on Radiator Springs and he loved it. In fact it was one ride that we would go on several times. The one ride that came out of no where for him this trip was Star Tours. He went on it once with Anni that night and ended up going on it 4 times, pretty much in a row too. I believe that i took Lizzy on Big Thunder railroad and Anni took her on Hyperspace again. That little girl LOVES her roller coasters and would go on them all the time, which she would. We decided to call it a night and head back to the room for the night.

 We convinced the kids to go on Indiana Jones!! They were not too thrilled afterwards. ;)

 Daddy took Lizzy around Tarzan's Tree house, mom needed to rest her poor recovering foot and Devin didn't want to go.

 Star Tours was a favorite!

 As was Toy Story Mania.
