Wednesday was going to be our third day in the parks. When we were planning the trip with the kids they had fun playing around on the Disneyland App. They would look it over everyday and look at the wait times and see what characters were out that day. It was fun to see them get excited and have an active part in our trip. One of the characters that was a must see was Moana. Anni kept a close eye on when she was out during the day and it was not much. Knowing that Moana was one of the must see we decided that we would need to see her first thing. We got to the park and headed toward Adventure Land where she was. Yes, we rope dropped Moana. We were the second family in line but it was worth it as we kept seeing the line grow longer and longer. Moana was not out very long and we worried that if we did not get in line early we stood the chance of not seeing her. The kids waited as well as the could and when it was our time they were excited. Once we were completed with that we of course hit more rides up and wondered around. We ran into the Mad Hatter and the kids LOVED talking to him and his crazy antics. One thing that I was really looking forward to was our lunch reservation for today at the Blue Bayou restaurant. One favorite food that I have really come to love is Cajun food, thanks to Linda, and this was exciting for me. Our table was right on the water, and we did not even have to request it! Pirates of the Caribbean was not open but they still had the Bayou seen going so it was cool. Anni had done some research and knew she wanted to get the Monte Cristo Sandwich, I on the other hand struggled to decide what I wanted. I ended up getting the Jambalaya. The food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. As much as we enjoyed the food we have decided that it is a one and done thing for us and will not do it again. We can get the food that we like outside the restaurant. After our feast we wondered around for a bit and decided that we would need to start looking for our spot for the Main Street Electrical Parade. Now the Parade did not start till 8:00 PM but we noticed that people were starting to wait for it around 4:00 PM. I have always joked that it was CRAZY to wait that long for the parade. However we had the spot I wanted and there was a bench there too! Where the weather had been bad the first two nights there i think the crowds were larger with everyone coming and why I was OK waiting that long. We took turns going on rides with the kids that were close, Buzz, Hyperspace and Devins new favorite Star Tours. We went and got a few things that kids had been wanting to help kill the time. The 4 hour wait was worth it once the parade had started. The kids really enjoyed it and one of the experiences they talk about is how Peter Pan came and talked to them during it. Once the parade was over we decided to call it a night and head back to the room to rest up for the next day.
