Disneyland Day 4 (February 7, 2017)

One thing that I have failed to mention in the older posts is about the weather. It seemed like most mornings started out wet and would get better. The first night that we were in the park it stayed rainy and the crowds were super light. I believe that is why Devin was able to ride Star Tours so many times in a row. We have always wanted to experience Disneyland in the rain and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. It helped that we were prepared with ponchos and a blanket that could get wet and the kids had there rain coats (kudos to Anni for packing them!!). Tuesday was dedicated to sully being in the parks. We started the morning out in California Adventure. I took Devin on Toy Story Mania (his favorite in that park) while Anni took Lizzy on California Screaming, her favorite in the park. They were able to go on that a few times and we met up to go on rides together. We took the kids over to a Bugs Land and let them have fun there. They seemed to enjoy the rides and have fun. Not sure why but they love to get there Dad on the spinney rides and want to go fast. I have gotten soft in my old age and they make me to dizzy, but you do things for the kids. They really wanted to go on the bumper cars so we stood in line for that. Devin is tall for most of the rides but still needs an adult to ride with him. Where I was with the kids and Anni was resting and enjoying the break I was lucky enough to ride with him. I felt bad for the poor kid as I shoved my 6'-2" body in the small car with him. He loved driving the car and I swear he was bumping to see my reaction. Overall the day was a success as we rode on many rides and had fun together. At one point during the day we ended back over at Disneyland and finished off our day there. For some reason we were pretty focused on rides the first two days, so not like us as we try and take our time and enjoy the ambiance of the park.

 It's amazing to me that some one so little can take up sooooo much of the bed!! ;)
