Enjoying Some Nice Weather!

So what's been happening the past week...well lets see...Friday was Devin's EEG, and we thought we were going to have to take Elizabeth with us as we couldn't find anyone to watch her, but luckily my mom was able to come and stay with her...gotta love moms, they're lifesavers!! Devin was not pleasant for his appointment but he was sleep deprived and he hates people touching his head...oh ya and he has a red hot temper! But he fell asleep pretty fast which was great! And he got a nice blanket from them to make things better. :) I got a call today saying his EEG was normal, phew! After his EEG, we took him over to get his blood work done....sooooo sad! He has my horrible tiny rolling veins, so it took four attempts :( He was so very sad. They were about to call the specialty IV team when another gal gave it a final shot and sure enough she got it. After that ordeal they gave him a ball! Which he appreciates more now. :)
Saturday evening we had our friends Kim and Michael over for dinner, then after putting the kids to bed we played a few games of Ticket to Ride...and I actually LOST! TWICE!! But in my defense the first game I lost, Kim and I were venting about life to eachother so our minds weren't really in it, and the second game I lost we started at like 11:30 pm so my brain was shut down. It was such a great night! Sunday evening we went up to my parents and Tony helped my dad with a project in the motorhome. We had a yummy dinner with them and Eric and Jen and played Wii Sports Resort. It had been a while since we played it, so it was even more fun!
This week we've been enjoying the spring like weather, by playing outside alot! Tuesday I watched an old neighbor's kids who are close to the ages of our kids so i essentially had two 3 year olds and 2 one year olds. And surprisingly it wasn't hard at all! So i guess if your gonna have 4 kids, two sets of twins isn't such a bad way to go! ;)
Oh and Elizabeth started a new session of swimming lessons and to our surprise her last teacher said she was ready for the next class! Despite the fact that she technically isn't old enough(it starts at age 4). And I found out the next youngest kid in her class is 41/2! So she the youngest by a whole year!! She's doing really well in her class though, and is getting really close to swimming under water all by herself! We are very proud of our little girl!
Yesterday during Elizabeth's special gymnastics class she got up onto the balance beam all be herself, without any steps or anything! Her teacher and I were very proud of her! She also did a "running back flip" on the bar!(she runs up a mat set up against the wall and flips backwards over the bar) she could only manage to do it once, but I was still very impressed! Last night Tony had a business dinner at Log Haven up Millcreek Canyon(a restaurant we'd never be able to afford to go to otherwise). We were a little apprehensive at first but ended up having a great night with absolutely amazingly delicious food! I mean the New York fillet steak was to die for!! The mashed potatoes were mouth watering, and the asparagus was divine! Oh and the chocolate "flourless cake" was amazing! We are so glad we went! Oh and when they found out Tony was the purchaser for his company they kept telling us to get two meals, and have anything we wanted! We didn't of course, but it was nice to see Tony so appreciated for what he does so well! This afternoon we're taking Devin to see a neurologist, so we'll see what he thinks is going on. And that pretty much catches you up to what we've been up to the past week! Enjoy the pictures!
