Devin was up first Christmas morning and he was very excited to see if Santa came and brought him his Mike the Knight castle! He was up just after 7 and when Tony went into Elizabeth's room she was still out cold! But she didn't mind too much being woken up once she realized it was Christmas day! They were both very happy to see just what they'd asked Santa to bring them sitting in front of the Christmas tree when they came into the living room! Devin even said "thank you Santa!" He can be soooo sweet!! I think Elizabeth was in a bit of shock and awe at how wonderful her Fluttershy was! I don't think she was expecting one that nice! So she was just soaking her in, she had a constant look and feeling of, "this is really for me! It's MINE!!!!" It was really sweet in it's own way! We kinda spoiled the kiddos this year(since we could) and it definitely helped that we found a lot of great deals and sales as well! They had a great time opening and loving all their presents! Elizabeth's expressions are priceless and the things Devin say are too! It just makes it so worth it!! Tony and I didn't get each other much, ya know other than the season tickets to Desert Star, we chose to focus on the kids gifts, as there just wasn't much we wanted or even needed. But I did get Tony some new jeans, and mp3 player with headphones and a BYU license plate frame. Elizabeth got him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle shirt and was very excited to give it to him! Tony got me a new cd player(yay!!) a couple cd's a couple nice sweaters and a nice new fancy automatic toothbrush! It was great! We don't need much cause we have everything we need in our little family!
Here is the video of the kids coming in Christmas morning.
This is the set up after Santa came!
The kids with their Santa gifts!
Checking out the stockings!
The milk and cookies and carrots are gone!
Opening presents!
Proof I was there too :)
Playing with their new fun things!
Shadow's Christmas!
After all the presents were opened the kids played while Tony cooked up our traditional french toast breakfast with sausage, hash browns and orange juice. We took it upstairs and shared it with my parents and it was delicious!! After breakfast we let the kids play and enjoy their new treasures for quite a while! It was a perfect Christmas morning no stress, no strife just a very happy family!
