Thanksgiving!! (and Black Friday)

For Thanksgiving this year my parents decided to just do a dinner with our immediate family, and we loved that idea!  It was just us four, my parents Eric, Jen and Daniel.  Tony was having trouble sleeping so he was up super early doing some black Friday shopping online, he awoke me about 4am maybe earlier I'm not sure, but he wanted my input on some things we'd been keeping an eye out for.  I went back to bed after getting squared away with him, then we of course started the day by watching the parade, Elizabeth loved all the dancers and performers, and Devin enjoyed it well enough.  We started lunch a bit earlier as Jen had to work, but it worked out well all around really.  The kids saw Santa(in the parade) from the table and were very excited about it!  Devin had Pediasure and a roll(Thanksgiving is so NOT his kind of holiday!) then he got all worked up, so Tony put him down for a much needed nap.  We looked at the ads, and talked about how sad it is that black Friday isn't really Friday anymore and how we miss the good old days, then formulated a plan best we could, with all the crazy times and such.  Oh ya and that morning before the parade really started Tony and I went to Walgreens as they have an awesome toy sale and we got some really fun things for the kiddos.  That night my mom and I hit up Michael's craft  store and got lots of good stuff with a great coupon! Black Friday was a success as well, Tony hit up Petsmart(since getting Shadow back we've been spoiling her a bit, but she deserves it!) then the aftermath of Walmart.  My mom and I went to JC Penny and picked up adult pj's for the "elves" and some slippers for my kids and us gals as well, I found a few things I liked too.  Then we went to Carter's and got my kids matching super cute pj's and some clothes for my kiddos, but they didn't have as many cute things as I was hoping they would.  So we stopped at Burger King and got some breakfast then went to Sears and found a lot of cute clothes for my kids, and lots of clothes for just about everyone!  Even I found several things I liked!  Then we hit up Kohls where I found some stuff for my kids and my mom got the guys slippers and some stuff for her as well, then we called it a day.  We got home shortly after noon.  All that took it all out of us, so we didn't do another darn thing the rest of the day!
