The Rest of a Wonderful Christmas Day!

A bit after Noon we finally got dressed and ready for the day, and headed out to my grandparents house.  We got there just as my parents and Eric and Jen were leaving. The kids were very excited to tell my grandparents all about their amazing Christmas.  Elizabeth brought Fluttershy to show off and Devin brought his Geo(from Team Umizoomi a math preschool show on Nick Jr.) that Elizabeth gave him and they showed them off to my grandparents as well.  We visited for a while and my cousin Sarah came with her youngest and joined in the visiting and admiring of gifts especially Fluttershy.  After some snacking and lots of visiting and playing we left my grandparent's and went to Tony's parents house for the Johnston Christmas dinner and party.  It was of course wonderful!  Devin even did pretty well, he wasn't particularly chatty but he didn't have a single melt down(though he did struggle a bit when we were all down in the Cougar Den opening presents...too many people in too small a space for him, but he made it) Dinner was prime rib with lots of yummy sides! Then was visiting while the kids played and then it was time for presents.  The kids each got a new pair of super soft super cute pj's and a personal, handmade by grandpa latch hook pillow.  Elizabeth's had a butterfly as she's our little butterfly. Devin's had a dalmatian dog as he loves dogs and especially dalmatians since they're traditionally fire truck dogs! Elizabeth got a stuffed Woodstock(from Peanuts) and Devin got Snoopy, but since we already have a Snoopy Tony's going to exchange it for Charlie Brown. They also got some fun things and treats in their stockings!  Tony and I got a new Corelle dishes set(YAY!!!) and cups and a nice silverware set and even new place mats! It was a perfect gift!!  After presents were opened we just enjoyed visiting and spending time as a family.  It truly was a wonderful Christmas!
