The Dicken's Christmas Festival! And the Holbrook Family Christmas Party!

Monday Dec. 9th in the evening after Tony got home we went to Tri City Nursery for a Christmas activity for Devin's Early Intervention.  We saw reindeer and a very cool Christmas light display/show to music, and had a yummy cookie, it was a fun night!  Tuesday Devin had OT in Bountiful at which we addressed his aversion to snow, but didn't get very far, I'll have to keep working on it.  That night was tumbling and piano. Thursday the kids went to Bravo's daycare while I came home and wrapped their 12 days of Christmas presents.  That night Elizabeth had tumbling and we had a fun Wii party for the scouts.  Friday evening the kids and I picked up Tony at his work then we went to the Dicken's Christmas Festival, it was a lot of fun.  Both kids made a candle this year and we wandered and looked at all the booths, picking up a thing here and there.  It was a good way to spend the night, but by the end Devin was so done and melting down.

Elizabeth wrote this note during her bath one night, if you can't tell it says, Dear Santa thanks for Freddy. Liz  Devin too  Love you Liz

Saturday morning we went to Bountiful to be there for my cousin's son as he was baptized, Elizabeth really enjoyed it and learned a lot from it actually, Devin just loved the idea that Sam got to go "swimming"!  We had a bit of trouble leaving as Devin attached to a certain hymn book and didn't want to leave it...don't worry, we made him leave it and though it took all day he got over it. ;)  That afternoon we had the Holbrook family Christmas party upstairs, it was a good time!  The kids and we loved our gifts and were very thankful.
My mom got this cool hot wheels race track for all the kids to play with, and it was a hit with young and old!

Opening presents!

After the party and dinner we bundled up the kids and us and my parents loaded up in the van and we drove to the Layton City Park to drive through the awesome light display they have.  They kids fell asleep while waiting in line but we woke them up for the lights.  They really enjoyed it!

And now you're all caught up with all the fun things we've been up to!!
